If this was an American tech company, you would certainly see more of the go get em attitude than is presented by the directors of IQE who no doubt are very accademically qualified but seem unable to inspire confidence in the market place, if truth is being told that their products offer unrivaled world leading technology, sales should be easy and increasing, they have to up their game.
Did'nt Drew , enter into some kind of large share sale agreement in order to pay tax ( some way of dodging no doubt) where he can buy back said share at a later date, dont have the whole detail, seems he has done a deal like this before , pretty sure the transaction was in the mid 40p region, any ideas ?.
Why was it written in such a sloppy, uninspiring manner , very strange or was it intentional.
Senario, one major holder owns 17% and it is assumed they are on loan, driving the price lower with swopps in to buy the required % in order to make an offer and then recalls the loaned shares, they buy onthe cheap and buid the company into a much improved entity, the sell to a major tech player, is that a resonable outcome.
must be thinking of taking some profit now, with such a big disconnect in sells to buys ? anyones thoughts.
One day and a stinking RNS the next, dont get me wrong was not expecting a gold plated announcement, but who ever wrote this update could not have made it sound worse, who exactly are their so called major customer ?.
Cant see anything on this Russian, maybe a proxy for the Turk seeing his airline was Russian owned, easier to accumulate in someone elses name and keep a lower sp till ready to pounce.
Others are having the same problem, T Rowe have bought another slice, whats their game are they building up for a takeover, is that why they keep loaning to shorters in order to get the sp lower, if so then it should be illegal.
And still the bods say nothing, excrement that they are.
Why should it be legal that T Rowe are aloud to loan out shares to short traders, as TR willl have advance info on IQE's dealings, surely market manipulation or insider trading, and IQE's board should be strongly condeming their actions. Crooks!.
Shen Man Zang, Fosun Director previously Citi bank Asia chairman, now does that not get you thinking ?.
Read in the Telegraph report, that Fosun will take the majority share of tour operations and presumably the hotel group and a minority stake in the airline, while the bondholders will become the majority owners of the airline. So the airline sale should return a far more acceptable return of capital than at present. The £750 million That Fosun will pay for this will no doubt be drip fed so the aquisition and dillution of shares will give Fosun the chance to stabilize TCG's finances, increasing the sp so shares can be sold at a later date to fund the whole con.
The unwillingness of the board to divulge anything about bids, for the airline/ slots, Nordic offer and any active bidders for parts of TCG, is criminal and has had one effect to drive the sp futher down this is not aceptable and surely some Financial authorities should be looking at this now!.
This is what i mean, Bod put out a statement with no clarity, how much dilution, and where, company split Tour operator / Airline what percentage of both will Fosun get, how do they value TCG in order to come up with the debt for equity ratio, its to vague intentionally.
True, newby's have been duped by them, if the deals done with Fosun thats it, but would Lufthansa or some others, not be interested now they can see the cards laid out, buy the lot sell the tour/ hotel side and aquire the slots at a great discount, there should be more value in this for shareholders not just the Bod's.
Who's this good for , Bod's they have said very little in order to ensure golden parachutes for themselves. they need lined up against the wall and shot for the deceiptfull way they have run TCG into the ground.
came at least a week after Lufthansa / Triton interest, Fosun dont want it all.
What sort of valuation do these companies have and how much debt do they carry, their as near to a cash buisiness you can get, they will no their exact profit margin of every product they sell, for def the way to go.
