Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
My take on this is that if we have had an extension its a real missed marketing opportunity to not announce it via an RNS, its a very positive thing if AA want to continue after completing DD. It would clear up any confusion too.
So to not release an RNS is strange & has me questioning why, especially as doing so would have probably increased the SP.
No one is wrong here yes the previous RNS does state the extension option, but, from a comms point of view an rns stating this has happened because things have moved onto the next stage would have been well received
100% they will need to do a raise, GC even hinted as much in the past and in the RNS they said will need to bring more people in now we moving clower to construction.
Great RNS update... I don't think EML will fly under the radar for much longer...
Audible I think the point you made about the Moroccan Gov is so important, they seem to be in favour of developing this mine, hopefully that means permitting can be completed soon.
As for ARC its an all or nothing play, risky but I'm hopeful... but I've been wrong before!
Westie thats my exact plan, hopefully get the deal in ARC done then put funds in EML for the long term... let's hope it works out as I really do think EML is the stand out mining share
@Westie are you following me or am I following you from the ARCM board? Lol
This is easily one of the best investments im in, in terms of investor engagement... people are well read & keen to help, good to see!!
One last point from me, other thank just noticing I spelt vegetables wrong in my last post ?? is that if you look at the BOD I think originally this was planned as a sell on business perhaps to OCP but to EML's credit & the appointment of Graham shows real intent to move this towards actual production which is very exciting. The work that has been completed recently has been excellent & hopefully benefit the local economy greatly also.
@ Trev79 so my understanding is that SOP is the more expensive potash variant reserved for use for vegitables whereas MOP which is the main EML production target is reserved for things like corn.
To make SOP I believe you mix MOP with other ingredients but there are a couple of ways to achieve it... im assuming the next FB study will investigate these options & see what is viable.
There is also the salt by product which EML are looking to sell which though not huge is a nice bonus if they pull that off too.
I agree why would AA put any more time into DD if what has been found from the drilling program was rubbish... it would not make sense, AA must be interested the only question that remains is the detail regarding a deal, which we can only speculate on.
Does anyone know specifically what DD that AA were/are conducting? As AA have been part o the drilling process i wonder what is left that they need to research... unless its to buy time in order to put a value on ARCM assets given the rapid rising copper prices.
Hi extrader I think the reason this has never been done before is due to blockchain, though the concept of monetising inventory is not new the ability to track it and prove it to auditors is... that is the key in securing the securitisation. At least that's my take on it.
Lydia12 yes this appears to be proof that the model works, but, until hard numbers are declared and cash in SYME bank there will always be an element of doubt... hence the drop today despite the great news that the huge financial auditors have signed off on it.
