You are absolutely right in what you say.
My take is the market is fed up of the company over promising and under delivering.
Until this changes and the company actually starts delivering the sp is not going to move much.
I have bought quite a few now so can wait until the hopeful uptick comes.
Based on their last trading update wouldn’t think a rights issue is on the cards yet. Definitely needs some news but patience is the key here.
Just bought another 9000 ish for my ISA. Interesting to note I bought them at 26.38 and could sell them straight away at 26.5 not that I did. I get the impression since the new man took over that the company is quietly going about its business and I like the fact that it’s currently under the radar.
Definitely the USA is the place to be.Todays RNS is the first step hopefully of the promised jam tomorrow. If and it’s a fairly big if they can get their ducks in a row the SP has got massive upside from here. Well underwater here as bought all the way upto £1.50 but bought some more today.
Just purchased another 15k at 20p. There are always risks attached but the way I see it once the cruise part of the business is back up and running then the SP will rise quickly. Looking for the SP to double from here by the Autumn.
Couldn’t agree more with your post though the SP has been fairly stable since the Covid outbreak.Massively undervalued compared to its current PE but then the market has never been a favourite of its murky past. Let’s hope we will be in the 200s soon with the anticipation of higher dividends also.
I hold probably about 25 different shares across both an ISA and SIPP. Of all my shares CEY is the one that has held up the best in the current market turmoil. I have been surprised that the SP has not got more bullish especially with the gold price and the certainty of the dividend. I do really enjoy reading all the posts but rarely post. I currently have a lot more time on my hands because I have been furloughed and I must admit I am rather enjoying it! Anyway thanks for all the informative posts everyone and keep them coming.
If you look at the history of this SP both the falls and rises are exaggerated. It is hard to see the daily decline in the price but when it turns it will keep on going up.Patience is the key here and as long as you don’t need the funds just let it ride until then.
