This one from the LTH brigade
Hi Whimax,
Fully agree, however, we need to show some empathy with the latecomers, some of whom might have very high averages, notwithstanding averaging down believing they would not see these prices again.
I have all of my shares for free riding and the brucie bonus of free accustem science also now, so I have a different psychy.
your ilk
Shriaz. I hear you and you also know I don't have any other option but to see it out, Like Trade said Investor confidence and sentiment is probably at a all time low. GC's large investment doesn't influence me during this phase because he's wealthy enough and won't stave, but his Modus Operandi from previous companies does.
Regarding the covid part even though I've not been happy with it, I firmly believe in the "Live and die by the sword theory"
we have made a play on it and suffered the consequences for it.
Shiraz, You know I would still gladly swop losses, ( its getting less attractive because your averaging down far more than me now, I refuse to invest another penny currently ) Please don't start with the LTH nonsense ( I don't want to go into a long rant about that) and your excluded because at least you often consider other £2 + entry investors
Investing shouldn't be a long endurance test in today's world 1/2/10 years is fine but. I have absolutely no problem with a loss of 10/15% at inception even breaking even for the first year wouldn't worry me , That's patience today (43% down tests that to the full)
Placing price investors 55% down is UNACCEPTABLE 25M down, nobody can honestly tell me otherwise
Other PI's pro rata down that's also not acceptable for a company that has all the correct fundamentals
It's depressing currently
SP drop after SP drop after SP drop
It's drained the life out of this share, good positive news / RNS has no effect . Very sad times
HH. smokie, IT'S A STORY !!!!!!!!! fact or fiction you decide LTH syndrome I suppose.
I'll check your advise with my advisor's Billy Hindsight and Nostradamus when they get back from leave
The story so far
This product is advertised in a new style BOGOF SURPRISE promotion, and available to loyal customers only (because you have to keep it for at least one day before opening).
This promotion involves buying the said product at an inflated price which already includes the cost of the free part (so basically not free as such)
Upon opening the said product, the free part of it is missing and replaced by a note which states. the free part of this promotion is not available yet, we haven't decided exactly when and what version of it will be given to you, it could be any of the low cost / medium cost or high cost options, so we will keep it exciting and enter it into a lucky draw for you.
Genius
I fell for it hook, line and sinker.
Shiraz, Another great post, but I'm not thanking you for making me feel the most stupid person on the BB ( medical wise before I get a barrage of agreement on the stupid front) Howard Weiner is quite an impressive person. Maybe I should invest in mining like you advised.
LJ, I know your style very well so neither did I
Shiraz, I've got a few shares for sale, LJ worked out a price for me you can have them on Friday £3 ?
From seeing today's high
Shiraz, Good man looking after the family, I can just imagine Accustem share talk around the dining table on Sunday's haha.
The greatest advantage of these shares is that they will NEVER EVER see a RED figure against them, ( I'm taking a 5p stop loss to guarantee a profit )
BM3, I think they ran out of them today after issuing Shiraz's shares, hope they arrive first thing tomorrow
Shiraz, Do they have enough column space for the quantity of Accustem shares you hold on HL ? mines a tight fit.
whimax, "Let me put it another way. If Nasdaq drops 30% on Friday afternoon, do you thing AIM will stand still and allow it to catch up, in the way that Nasdaq has stayed still and AIM has fallen, or do you think PI’s might get shafted further on AIM?"
I totally agree with you on this point that we are going to be shafted twice, I think the post by Legalwolf on price disparity is relevant

The ordinaryshares in the UK market are now showing up as ex dividend. Therefore, they necessarily carry a lower value than the ADR, which are still trading with the Accustem ADR. The value of Accustem has been taken out of the UK shares. We were debating whether the demerger process closed in the UK and the US. This difference in price would suggest that it has not closed in the US, or at least the market does not think that it has. The ex Record date in the US is this Friday BUT NO EX DIVIDEND DATE HAS BEEN SET YET FOR THE US. Read the RNS for why that is. Therefore, expect this disparity between the two markets to continue until the ADR also trade ex dividend, after which they too will fall. This is my reading of the situation... In a way, the fall in the UK should be mirrored by the rise in the ADR - as the difference is what the market has priced Accustem at. I don't think this is manipulation. This is down to the impact of having two different timetables in what was otherwise an aligned market.
Great company, Great pipeline but the BOD have made a colossal mess/error of the demerger process.
Numerous mistakes have been made but the biggest one had to be the liberty of the illiquid Accustem share which has caused massive "temporary paper loss" on shareholders SP wise.
Simply put had the Accustem share been tradeable, investors could have offset both shares and known the actual financial
position they where in good or bad.
The uncertainty and being left at the MM's mercy to "determine" and price in, what they think the actual value of the Accustem share is disgraceful to say at least.
Long term we will be rewarded for the research and belief that made us invest initially (I think and hope) Our only option appears to be to accept the pain and wait, our time will come, but this could have been a much smoother painless process.
Early Christmas for Arbitrage traders that's for sure
Shiraz, I am purely a financial investor and you will probably say I should invest in mining etc, I do however like to invest in companies that make a difference to people's lives if possible. I've learned more science from you than ever had the need to, so excuse the financial rant's we both have the companies best interest at heart.
Shiraz, I don't even want to consider the thought of double / treble our positions. IF I would do it again I would not have started buying at the placing price and slightly above. The offset of the Accustem share return when listed / sold was a major factor
for me in the investment. Not enjoying the journey though. Great company great pipeline awful share price
I have also gone beyond the point of no return and will not sell. I would gladly swop losses with Shiraz that's why
Y-Alam, "Swerv...you need to add when Nasdaq falls...sp falls...when Nasdaq rises sp falls..."
I think that was covered under the "For any other scenario the sp will drop" Clause
