Nice big buy at 11am today for £240k @ 40p, clearly still appetite for these and with gold at $1960 it’s hardly surprising. Looks like we weren’t the only gold miners to take a bit of a hit today, guess we can’t rise by 3-4% everyday!

Well I hope he isn’t paid, they aren’t getting their money’s worth that’s for sure and I would have thought we were deserving of a better class of deramper, maybe when we have the second mine up and running then they will come. Until then we have shandy and feel sorry for everytime he misses another opportunity to invest

What price did we pay for Cora shares? Maybe when we finally sell them some money could be put aside for a new saucepan for shandy as his is a bit leaky

One of the things I read about professional investors is that most are much better at picking a point of entry than they are of exit and few realise the full potential of their investment. It’s always tempting to try and get a bit more but if you are close to where you want to be then why risk it? It’s almost worth selling up just to stop having to see shandy write about his alien encounters of the rectal kind

For someone who knows read all the books and knows all there is about trading I think you might have overlooked one - ‘averaging down’

In terms of the dugbe deal it is good, we get someone who will more than likely get it to production which is more than hummingbird has so far and would be way down the line even if we did. We probably could have got more for it and I wasn’t happy at the time with it effectively getting transferred partially to a private entity but it doesn’t really matter now, it’s getting developed and that’s the main takeaway

Was in itm before I sold and bought in to afc. In hindsight I should have either waited a little longer in itm or earlier into afc but that’s life. Things are looking good at afc so no worries. I’m in mining and tech other than that, always worth having one gold stock for times like now!

Dunno, it’s pretty high and the buys are out weighing the sells by about 5-1, think we might need a big buy to get us over 42p though

Those two ‘sells’ from Friday look like they were actually buys again based on the price that was paid at the time. This is also looking like it wants to push past 42p at this rate. Thought I was being bold last week with a 80p target price by end of year but at this rate that’s looking pretty safe
