Just walk down the high street or take public transport and you'll see around us nothing really works, broken and just far too expense. Propaganda works both ways and in the English speaking world\ media is big, very big propaganda too. Even Russia and China can't beat western English propaganda. (Tucker Carlson and Putin interview 2024) Yet it doesn't mean everyone that understands English have to accept all that's spewed out in the English world be it propaganda or not. Russia and China are nothing like what the West portrays it and I find hear say is trash and far better to go there, visit the country and speak to the people in this era. To be honest the war against proxy Ukraine and NATO is an existential threat to Russia and I doubt an uptick in inflation and interest rates in Russia year on year will derail their core SMO objectives. I could easily say interest rates is low and inflation is high in the UK and hence I might as buy FXPO or UK shares for long term growth as protect the purchasing power of my cash. More Relevant. I don't know Putin but he's smart on the world stage and the western journalist can't even win a 4 hour debating match against him. Like him or not, Putin is the right man for Russia so the West will just have to suck it up and move on with their imperialist divide and conquer of countries mindset.

As for lower oil and gas prices, I don't think Trump will do this given the likes of US oil and gas companies are not the lowest cost producers and more than happy to keep oil and gas prices high to reap the high profits. Plus the motor industry are reluctant to move to full electric so high oil prices will certainly kill off the US, European and Japanese and Korean car industry as the straw which broke the camel's back. If the west wanted to hurt Russia with low oil and gas prices then surely they could of asked the Middle Eastern countries to lower their prices given they are the lowest cost producers but that the west couldn't do in the last 2 years and nor did the middle eastern countries played ball with USA or the west given Russia is a member of OPEC plus whom all like low output and high prices.

I don't buy companies on hear say or meme stocks. Just too risky! The last one I brought was Sunkar Resources and managed to break-even before it tanked and exited the LSE.

The stocks I look at must have trading profits, good management, a good product brand and a good future.

As you get older you want to limit your risk and try buy blue chip stocks. It's never good to give your winnings back to the market so I take a 80% passive and 20% risky strategy. Will foresee exiting oil stocks like Shell and BP in the next market high given we are moving the electric economy within the next 10-20yrs. At least US in the future won't be entering into new wars to steal a country's oil.

I won't touch Russian connected stocks unless I have a Russian bank account or buy on a Pro-Russian friendly stock exchange on a Pro-Russian international broker. Looks like buying Russian stocks for now is off limits. It's not that don't trust Russia, it's that I don't trust the West with there irrational sanctions. I got burnt buying and then selling Evraz and Polymetals on the fall thinking that the west will back its western interest and western shareholders. Yet the hate for Russia by the west also dented my BP holdings valuations given BP had a joint venture with the Rosneft and exit it on the cheap in 2022.

I will continue buying China stocks but only from a Hong Kong broker on the HK exchange. The risk of buying Chinese stocks via ADR or with western brokers is just too risky given what the west have done to Russia via their western sanctions.

As for UK stocks we all know this market is rather dull when compared the overpriced US stocks, yet there are a few gems when your timing is right to buy UK stocks. I've started looking at European stocks battered by stupid western sanctions on Russia. Might find a few companies that will buckle the trend on the western sanctions. BASF for example.

I have around 35k of FXPO shares . Majority brought at 43p and 48p.... Little brought at 96p and £1.06p. Was originally waiting for FXPO to fall to 18p or less but somehow the SP technical analysis and reality got the best of me so missed out buying FXPO at 38p or 40p SP level. My goal like some others on this forum is to by at least 100k shares in FXPO and for me sell the majority of this stake at £2.45 or the £2.95 levels. I don't mind a 2-3 year timeline for this investment to mature so to exit big given geopolitical risk plays a role when you have too much eggs in on basket in one unstable country.

From a historical perspective, I did buy FXPO in the past (before war) at 30p and sold majority at £3.30 before exiting a small stake (anything left) at £1.60 when the war started. Really happy with the generous FXPO dividends 1-2 years before the war started and know this is a well run company producing a very good end product.

This is just one of the gems of a company which I'm holding. A lot of my other investments have matured (RR, Shell, MC Saatchi, Easyjet,etc) or got brought by foreign buyers (John Menzies, Civitas Social Housing, Stock Spirits Group, etc). So cash rich and just waiting which is the hardest thing to do when investing and wanting to buy at the right share price.

Out of all the stocks to choose from in the LSE, FXPO is undervalued and with great upside once the war ends and FXPO production returns to Business as Usual.

I'm not looking at other western stocks or funds because their PE ratios are just too high and like in bubble territory. I do think there might be Black Swan event in global markets in the near future and FXPO will not be immune to the effects of it too. Yet buying FXPO at the right (low) price should able you and me to have less sleepless nights and ride out the storm of a long, deep global recession which eventually the money printing press turn on and stocks will rise again and a lot higher too.

Meanwhile, I'm just waiting and waiting for the right moment to become fully invested in the stock markets. No point be fully invested when you don't see 'blood in the streets'. Red screen days and the likes of BBC news ranting about stock market crashes, retails investors selling and bank runs! That's my signal to buy and scoop up bargain stocks irrespective it's FXPO or not.

A risky day to buy FXPO today given the Dow Jones is tanking, we're approach the weekend and the FXPO SP has fallen to the lower quartile of the 90p range. Therefore, if you brought a the 91p range then the upside movement will have to test the 95p to 96p price and break through the failed £1 level which only topped at £1.15. Even FXPO positive production output announce this week didn't help shift the FXPO SP to a higher level which would of been nice. Nevertheless, one has to face the facts that FXPO SP might go back to test the 85p-83p levels and then the 71p levels. This SP fall will take time to do given FXPO SP movement is not instant and there's no new or real catalyst unknown to us that's pushing the SP violently in one direction.

My strategy is buy maybe at the 83p level, definitely at the 71p level and absolutely at the 51p level. Will also sell 50% at what is brought at these levels at £1.15 or £1.25 to ensure my FXPO SP is halved so thus making it difficult to lose and break-even. FXPO is still in the FTSE 250 and fund managers will have to by it for their indices portfolios and there might be a Trump bump upwards in the financial markets\ stocks given Trump is pro business and anti war.

If independent Ukraine is rebuilt in the future, FXPO will benefit. (steel for infrastructure and Europe's military)

If independent Ukraine is Not rebuilt in the future, FXPO will benefit from a weak Ukrainian hryvnia and thus attracting overseas buyers to buy a cheap iron ore pellet.

If independent Ukraine remains neutral then they will win both the Western and Far Eastern markets as well as have the cheap energy to make cheap iron ore pellets. As I've mention, FXPO is not the only company producing iron ore as Africa is the new kid on the block for selling cheap iron ore. So it's very important for FXPO to be competitive on the world stage else we might never see the £3 or £5 share prices levels or the generous dividend pay-outs.

I don't see why your degree has to do with it anything. The facts matter and can't be changed irrespective of your degree/MA/PHD or whatever position you held and the duration you've held it for. Yet for a person of a higher education level then surely you understand what critical reasoning a look at a statement from both sides of the fence.

Looks like we might revisit the 85 to 71p levels and if the war eats further into more Ukraine territory loss to Russia then we might see the 51p level in FXPO SP. Makes sense to wait and see before buying more FXPO shares at a lot lower price.

Looks like the cards (bond defaults) are tipping toward a global recession (sore loser Biden administration trashing the US economy) which will also hurt FXPO SP yet Trump might have a trump card that he's hiding and no show until he become POTUS in Jan 20th.

The western vote is rather pointless given it rigged.

It's the results that matter! Replacing a crown (tooth) cost me £250 in Thailand whilst in the UK it's over £1k. Taking a ride on the underground in China cost 10p-20p whilst in London it's over £6.50 from zone 1 to zone 6. Arresting and sentencing criminals rather turning a blind-eye and free them in the UK because of a lack of prison space or they're the Huw Edwards groupie. Paying cheap electricity and gas in Thailand (£2-300 pa) whilst in the UK it's in the £2000-£3000 pa. It's not working in the UK and our votes is meaningless.
