Excellent News - handbrake released12 Sep 2025 11:08
Another poster asked me about Bres on another BB earlier this week. I gave a brief response and one of the negatives I outlined was near term funding risk. This has now been removed. It is unquestionably MUCH better for us to be entering our critical period of newsflow with the placing behind us rather than ahead of us. It is always imperative with any junior to have a clearer runway for the share price to move. It is difficult for the share price to take off or trend without this. You might get a spike at best!
Today's RNS now removes this KEY element of doubt. It means the market can and will buy more freely now. Therefore, it's an eminently sensible and indeed a strategically great move by the BOD to get it done now, before any of the news lands. The placing price is also encouraging and represents a reversal of sorts (when compared to the one earlier this year) in that it returns Bres to an upward trend of dilution. I would have preferred less or no warrants, as we have enough of those already, but I guess we can't have it all.
We should also not forget that we recently brokeout of a multi year downtrending channel - observed by quite a few online. We then fellback into the channel straightaway and many of us would have viewed that as the customary breakout retest. It's more likely that it was the placing that dictated this fall back into the channel, but it showed that the share price was very much starting to stir into life (with almost a 100% rise from its lows).
With the placing risk now removed (for the foreseeable), the share price will inevitably stir back into life in that the market can now rest assured that every dip from hereon will highly likely represent the cheapest shares they will be able to buy in Bres from that particular point onwards. No one need fear a placing when they are buying at the current price, the next dip, the one after that, and so on, in the weeks and months ahead. This is exactly the kind of buying situation that creates 'fomo' that in turn drives the share price. Without it, you just get "placing incoming" fears and posts on here into the newsflow. The jitters set in and it affects sentiment.
SO, when you reflect on it like this, for me there is really only one response to today's news (for those holding BRES with conviction) - the BUY case just got MUCH stronger on this news, in that the last share price handbrake has been released. Accordingly I have been buying this morning. All imo and GLA
