I agree that gold will do well and especially if geopolitical issues worsen. What are the best goldies to target on AIM? ORR is obviously an early leader but maybe a bit late now to target. I have KAV as a punt but they need first results to be good. Looked at Kefi and LNR and both have money issues. GCAT is a basket case and dodgy. ECR no thanks.

Anyone got any favourites - looking for something that has a reasonable float, great project potential and is well financed.

Joe80 - should they have reached TD by now even accounting for use of power tong and stopping to test on the way down? I think you said they should have by now?

Why does the IR issue matter in terms of outcome of the drill? If it only impacts the timescale, maybe that’s why they said 30 days for an 800m well?

As long as they are drilling and making progress and will be able to complete all necessary tasks then it seems like an argument over nothing. But I’m no engineer here and might be missing the significance.

Nothing from the trading activity to suggest that any positive news has been leaked by the leaky ship that is He1! Does that mean there has been nothing positive to leak, or that the leopard has changed its spots and managed to avoid any leaks? All imo

If they have anything positive to report, I would expect them to say so in the TD RNS, albeit with the caveat that the lab results are awaited. If the simply report TD successfully reached, and don't mention any Helium, then curtains.

Zebra - for your information, I wasn't long on He1 at 6.8p. I sold my position when the share was trading at 9p to 10p, because I was concerned about the placing, and I have not been back in this share since.

I do share a lot of your views, other than if they make a discovery here (which I don't have high hopes for), then all is not lost here.

Kheldar - that's not me giving my own view, that is coming from He1 themselves. I don't know how long you have been invested here, but before they started the Tai 3 drilling, He1 said they that would need to drill an appraisal well, if they made a discovery. This is also what Noble will be doing and what they have raised money for.

Therefore, my understanding is that the most that can be achieved from this exploration drilling is a discovery, but in order to get to commercially viable discovery, He1 will need to drill an appraisal well?

This is not my area of expertise, and 'happy' to be corrected.

I'm going to try not to get embroiled in squabbling. There's been far too much of it, it's getting really boring and is tiring. I've been involved in He1 since its very inception (first buy was in the months following its IPO). Naturally, I'm keen to follow it through to the very end, even though I'm currently out. Also, IF they make a discovery, of course I will "consider" reinvesting. I don't have high confidence that they will make a discovery, which is why I haven't bought in advance of results (plus the placing overhang etc), but I'm not ruling out a discovery, which is also why I'm following the outcome. No conspiracy theories needed!

They said they would be testing as they go along, and I suspect because of the issues they have had with the Rig, that is what they are likely to have done/be doing. But not sure they will say anything until TD is reached and/or all testing is complete.

0.2p level has been broken, just as results are expected. That's not healthy price action at all. Is it down to the sheer volume of placing shares being sold, which is overwhelming the low volume demand right now? Or is it because He1 have said they would be testing on the way down, and have not put anything positive out thus far, giving some people the jitters and they are bailing out whilst they can with a scratch or smaller loss?

Alternatively, is it because the market knows that this is simply an exploration well, meaning it can't result in a "commercial" discovery being announced - which would require an appraisal well - and He1 will be coming back to the market for cash upon completion of the drill?

What I've come to learn about these ramping posters is that they have zero humility and zero nous. They have literally got nothing right in almost 6 months of talking nonsense on here, have taken significant losses in the process, yet still they go on as if they have made a killing, and know what they are doing. As they desperately hope for a late miracle so that they might salvage something from their self inflicted wreckage, they are now engaged in this pretence that those of us with a more realistic grip on this (and of reality), are somehow engaged in [enter whichever conspiracy you like here] de-ramping and subterfuge.

The usual wet wipe stuff comes out like - "oh, why do you post so much", "why do you keep mentioning a placing", "you're not even invested here, go away". It's like being in kindergarten. I half expect one of them to come out with "I'm going to tell my mommy if you don't go away."

At least Coco had some humility and realised the error of his ways. But the likes of RJ, Turd, Skippys et all are just too weak minded and egotistical to face facts, admit they have gotten a lot of things wrong here over such a long period now, and also face up to the reality that the situation here has not been rosy at all, but actually very dire and is now on a precipice depending on this next RNS. Is it worth arguing the toss here? It’s clear the share price is waiting on results, which are due very shortly and will as always settle all disagreements.

I agree with zebra, but what does it matter because next week we will likely find out who was right and who was wrong. Its not like we will agree before then anyway.

Joe80-they haven’t even given us the concentrations so we can see the extent of any increases. The highest concentration was 0.8% and I believe that was less than what they had at Tai 1, but at 80m. So it’s hard to make sense of even this piece of spin or have much confidence in it.

Absolutely right IG. This is where their decision not to go for a strategic partner last year might be one they come to regret because who is going to fund the work with the university and the pilot plant? They have gone from early monetisation to researching extraction! Too much hype and market over there has seen through it. All imo and dyor
