I am hoping that KAV is going to have a really good Q2. Not only are we expecting KCB drilling to commence, but we should start to get some of these positive gold results that BT has been talking about, as well as gold revenue generation from Nara. These couldn't have been better timed in terms of the gold price right now. There is also the possibility of new revenue generating opportunities that BT spoke about in the interview. Need to remember that the current price is very low, and most of the stock is held in tight hands. So it won't take much buying for this to make a big move up.

Just need to hope that it's not all hyperbole and cheap talk from BT, and the results will indeed live up to the expectations he is creating about them.

But definitely worth this entry price with what's coming up here imho.

Too much irrelevant nonsense and FUD on here. I'd focus on what matters, which is price action and the chart. At the moment it very much looks like the share price is poised to rise (or fall) on the next RNS (or interview). So I think it's a case of whether, from last week's updates, you are anticipating that the next update is going to be positive or negative.

On AIM, it pays not to look too far ahead, which is where too many of the negative posts are focussed imho.

I'm only focussed on the here and now, and I am hoping/expecting the next update will be a positive, which in turn will (hopefully) see a decent move up in the share price from here. That's it. All imo and GLA

That's a direct quote from LB in the RNS. Since then, she has given two very positive interviews. Overall, I think they do have free flowing Helium (and Hydrogen). Yes, it doesn't sound like a 'conventional' discovery, and I'm trying to work out whether that is because the gas is exsolving and flowing to surface, or the fact that it's a fracture/fault type of play, or a combination of the two. Even then, I'm not going to pretend I understand either of these factors or their implications.

Yes, we need to know how much Helium they have (and Hydrogen) so that a valuation can be put on it. And we need to be confident that they can extract the gas from this type of play.

But if (or when?) these confirmations arrive, then there's definitely going to be upside to be had here for sure, and lots of it?

Good post Skippys - that does seem to make sense and could well be the difference between the findings made at Mbelele and at Itumbula. Higher concentrations of that depressurised free Helium gas as well.

I just hope it's not a precursor to a forward sold placing. Seen far too many of them in 2023 on AIM!!!

I'm reasonably clear that NHE's discovery (if it can be described as such) isn't commercial, until they find a method of extracting the exsolved Helium. Therefore, they are very much reliant on this University research. There is little doubt about that, because they have come out and said so.

Can I clarify whether "exsolved gas" (the term used by NHE) is the same or different as "coming out of solution" (the wording used by He1)?

I also don't recall LB saying in her interviews that they found exsolved Helium only. Otherwise, when talking about development and monetisation of Itumbula, she would surely have referred to the same University research of extracting exsolved Helium, that NHE referred to?

Are you saying it's 100% confirmed that He1 have exsolved Helium only, or is this a concern of yours because the company have been ambiguous?

Joe80 - the title of the RNS is "Itumbula West flows Helium (4.7%) to surface". Then within the RNS itself you have the following which state Helium flowing to the surface. Are you saying that all of these statements are referring to Helium in solution and not free gas:

- The well successfully flowed a high concentration of helium to surface from Basement, at a measured concentration up to 4.7% helium.

- Hydrogen also flowed to surface during basement testing, at a concentration of 2.2% hydrogen, over thirty-seven thousand times above background levels

- Flowing helium to surface in such high concentrations is a huge milestone for the Company.

- The Company identified three zones for well testing, and upon completion of each DST, all three zones successfully yielded downhole gas samples. When performing the Basement DST, high concentrations of helium began to flow to surface following reverse circulation and yielded a compositional mix up to 4.7% helium, 1.5% argon, 8% oxygen and 86% nitrogen.

- As the helium rises through the well bore, the pressure decreases, and it is thought that the helium then comes out of solution and increases in concentration.

- In addition to high helium flowing to surface, the Company encountered elevated hydrogen levels that flowed to surface.

Crusty - can you point me to where in the RNS or interviews it states that the helium found at Itumbula is ex solved/in solution rather than as free gas? Thanks

There will be profit taking from the placees. There always is following a placing. So every placing results in some selling (overhang). I didn't say the overhang has/hasn't been cleared. But the placing did put the brakes on the share price imo

Joe80 - admittedly, understanding the geology and the results is not my strong point. But I thought that Noble had found Helium in solution, whereas He1 have found it flowing as free gas/mixed with other gases? Is that not correct or is it ambiguous?

It was under this management. As for lukewarm market reaction, I am not sure the market reaction has been lukewarm in that the stock has gone from 0.25p to a high of 3.5p on the Itumbula results.

The reason that the share price has cooled off since then is there has been a placing, which always leaves an overhang, and the market is waiting to see what is confirmed in the RNS from the evaluation of the results and in terms of commercial discovery. All imo

Js15 - personal view only, and I don't think it's LB necessarily, but for sure, in the past He1 has been very untrustworthy/ dubious in its comms to the market imo. Recent examples were saying they had no Rig on Friday and announcing a Rig purchase the following Monday, and then making most on here think they had no plans to raise before Tai 3, and then proceeding to raise! There are others examples as well, but these are amongst the most recent and blatant....

Understood Joe80. It's different at Itumbula though in that the Helium is not ex-solved (or whatever the term is) but in gaseous form? So a more conventional extraction and production method, which doesn't require a University to research and test.

Nah - I've not heard him talk up drilling results before like this. He's normally cautious about results. I suspect he already knows they are going to be positive by the sounds of things. But let's see. With a rising POG, it would be a brilliant time to release some positive gold news to the market. And KCB drilling to come as well.

Not much stock at these levels, and most of the free float is in sticky hands. Hard to see this trading at these levels for much longer imho. But let's see. GLA

Yet NHE's share price is making new all time lows? I don't get it, they are fully funded for appraisal drilling at Mbelele as well? Why such contrasting market reactions when both companies appear to be saying they have made discoveries.

It was a brilliant interview. BT was on top form and there is LOADS of newsflow coming up here in the coming weeks and months, with drilling at KCB to commence in April. The company is well financed with multiple options for revenue and the continuing backing of the Kasangra family. Therefore no more need for low ball broker led placings - which was key. He has also pretty much indicated that the results at Zim are going to be positive, saying they are delighted with how things have gone, that he can't wait to release them and that the market will like them and buy into KAV.

And KAV's share price is stirring into life with 0.8p on the Ask!
