I listened to the interview that LB did recently with DL, where she went through the forward options for He1. These included an appraisal at Itumbula, and re-entering Tai 3 basement. She also suggested that a JV might be an option, but that sounded very early stage in terms of discussions.

I think the issue, as always, will be cash required to advance the project. Is it too early stage to bring in a JV partner? Noble appear to be at a similar stage, but had to go back to the market for appraisal drilling funds. And yet Noble claimed they had JV interest but decided to go it alone.

So I think the market will be waiting to see where the funding is going to come from - even with its own Rig, drilling at Rukwa is an expensive business. All imo and dyor

The Prospectus will also give us an up to date list of all of the institutional investors on board here. It will show just how much of the free float here is in tight hands. Meaning that when this does re-rate, it will (hopefully) be a rather quick re-rating.

I took some more in the upper 7s in recent days. I tried a cheeky buy order at 7.5p which never got hit. I think we now have a bottom established on the chart at these levels, subject of course to Chariot confirming the drilling for Q1.

IMHO, the best time to buy is now, not after Loukos results. Not only will the share price rise into those results, but the Energean approval will come through before then as well. It's hard to believe the share price will be trading anywhere near these levels following this newsflow imho.

The share price here has seemingly halved since the partnership deal with Energean was announced in December. Can LTH here offer a view as to why the market didn't react well to the deal, or is it more down to pushing back timelines, or something else? I note that the Director's have all been buying since the deal was announced.

Good post Bouncy and totally agree. The onshore is a very decent starter course in itself, but offshore remains the main course. BOTH should be served up very nicely in 2024, in terms of generating value. And all whilst the transitional power side of the business continues to progress very nicely as well. 2024/2025 shaping up very nicely. I agree with you that success at Loukos will get Char to 18p, especially if by then, they have started to put out some confirmatory news re drilling at Anchois in 2024. That should sustain any rise generated by Loukos.

Buy at these lows and then hold for 2024/2025. You will definitely make money, it's a question of how much. I've mistimed my entry at 9.3p (as matter of technical perfection), but not all that fussed. Happy to add more in the 8s.

RJ - you might be right, but in any case, I don't think it matters much even if the share price falls back. If the final results contain all the positives that people are expecting, then any drop will be temporary. As I said before, I'm cautiously optimistic, but given the history with He1, I would like to see the final results. I am sure, like Noble, they will get the information out to the market very shortly.

I think the market is rightly waiting for the following:

1) Final results (with hopefully the missing information provided).

2) Details of next stage - He1 don't have funds for appraisal, so will either need to raise them, or do a JV.

I can't see the share price going anywhere until at least the first of these lands.

Could a collaboration with NHE be back on I wonder. He1 have the Rig, they have the cash? Or will it need someone with deeper pockets to come in and take this project.

Hopefully this will continue to rise this week and into Friday. News must be close.

I happen to agree with both pov on here. I do agree that there is tremendous upside to be had here. This is clear from the huge interest that He1 has had in recent weeks. There are (a great) many who will buy the share purely on this basis. This could fuel the share price by itself, even before the next results. Think of all the "gap fill" and the Zak Mir stuff as examples of this approach - the 'technical' or 'charting' reasons for buying.

The other factor is of course the fundamental reason(s)/catalysts. The initial results from Itumbula do sound extremely positive indeed and a Helium discovery is a massive thing. There is no question about that. However, it is right to say that there IS some missing key information from the initial results that He1 have put out, which others have outlined already. I don't have enough understanding of these matters to know if such information has been held back deliberately, or is information that can only be known or released upon independent verification. What I will say is that if it has been held back by He1, then I don't believe that is for any positive reason. That's not how AIM juniors and He1 in particular operate.

I have no idea what the final results will confirm, but have a mixture of optimism (based on the initial results) but also caution by virtue of them having been held back.

So right now I will be guided instead by the share price action (the technicals), which means watching and seeing what happens and then reacting accordingly. All imo and GLA

It's good that folk are discussing commerciality and next steps, rather than taking it as a given. The interview with LB posted earlier was interesting, especially the concluding remarks attributed to her:

"LB: It's still early days, but we're focused on fully evaluating the data and understanding how these gases behave. Our aim is to appraise and eventually commercialise the project, considering the global interest in helium and hydrogen as essential resources for various industries and clean energy solutions."

So appraisal is the next step, but what is the context for this appraisal drilling:

1) They already know they have a commercial discovery, and the appraisal will be simply to establish the size of it, and investigate the Hydrogen aspect as well as the Helium.

2) They can't be sure they have a commercial discovery of either gas, and (only) the appraisal will establish this.

It would be good to get some clarity on which of these scenarios applies here, as neither NHE or HE1 have been clear about this as yet.

The share price will rise (like helium) if or when they confirm a commercial discovery. I do NOT believe that they have done so yet. Whilst they have referred to "commerciality", which does sound VERY promising and indicative of one, it still does need confirming. Will such confirmation not need appraisal drilling, which is what Noble are doing next?

I believe this is the same PB who have taken a 52% stake in KAVANGO?

Looks like the bottom is in and this is stirring back into life in readiness for a RNS to land here shortly. GLA

There are signs of life on AIM with a number of shares perking up especially in the junior sector. Im still confident that Char will do very well this year(if it carries through on its plans) and will also add at these levels.

The Cottesloe results can't be too far away now?

No details about what the money is to be used for. Working capital is like a euphemism for "wages". Didn't have enough confidence in their final results to raise at higher levels by the looks of it.

I was always curious whether they would raise before final results!
