Noticed the drop in price and seems to have pulled back from Tuesday's high. Not sure it's going to go on a run before actual news?

Was looking at this closely, but slightly concerned whether these warrants going to create a sell into news scenario here? Will the results of a single hole be 'BIG' enough to absorb any such selling?

Thoughts welcome.

Yes, I suspect news will land before July and so now looks like a good time to buy in, and especially at the discount to the placing. Very intrigued to know what the new project might be.

BTW - when did Gervaise Heddle buy in and how much? Been going through the notifications but can't find him...

Spread is tightening and MM willing to take large amounts (again) within the spread. Looks like OMI might be primed to make a move into the big news. Remember, it could land anytime from next week onwards. GLA

BTW folks - I'm still expecting HEX to be the front runner and outperform. It has absorbed the initial selling and is looking poised again. Showing some real strength. Let's see where it closes the week, but wouldn't surprise me at all if it's in the 20s.

PP what was the lowest buy you have managed in KAT? I've taken some at 0.081 but was wondering whether a limit order in the 7s is likely to be successful or a waste of time based on your prior dealings?

Interestingly ARC Minerals are also about to recommence drilling at the KCB. They hit copper during their maiden drilling campaign there last year. Has anyone here been following ARC and are there any useful comparisons to be made from the work/geology they have been doing vis a vis KAV 2.0?

Swissy - I've taken an initial position in KAT today. More as a punt and mostly based on PP's thesis about it on here. I note the transition period comes to an end in July, so hopefully news should land in KAT between now and then?

I'm currently looking at ARC and also at adding to KAV. Interestingly both companies are about to start drilling at the KCB. ARC's programme is 2000 metres and will take a month. KAV are doing a 5000m drilling programme, which will take 3 months to complete. Could invest in both - that's what I am contemplating?

I've started accumulating here. Thanks for the tip off PP. There will definitely be some upside coming up here, with the parties involved and current tiny mcap. GLA

CMET needs to close the deal with SR or LB. If neither company concludes a deal, then clearly something isn't right in the background. We don't want to go through another round of funding discussions with new parties because that will likely delay everything by another 6 months.

Hopefully the existing parties will come through and sign. Either way, CMET will need to update the market next week?

BT took a lot of stick when he asserted this before and KAV didn't deliver a discovery. For him to repeat it again shows his confidence and obviously he is putting his reputation on the line here. I think KAV know they already have the discoveries in Zim and it's a case of proving them up with drilling etc. Three drills soon to be turning in Zim and KCB. Should make for another news filled and share price rising period here. GLA

Strop - not asking you to trust me and couldn't care less if you do. I'm offering my view on a bb just like anybody else. Take it or leave it like you are entitled to. I happen to be very bullish on HEX, but that doesn't mean I think it will go up all of the time and in a straight line. Far from it, I expect it to go up with pullbacks/consolidations along the way. That includes if or when we get into the 20s and the 30s.

As it happens, anyone who bought yesterday would in fact have been up by the end of the day. I still expect them to be up in the coming days and weeks.

As I understand it, regardless of who wins (if there is a race at all here, which I doubt), they get 50% of the project, with CMET owning the other 50%. Whatever shareholding they have in CMET is separate and in addition to this.

Sheffield might well hold all the aces here and low ball CMET in the long run?
