Approach to BB6 Oct 2024 11:58
Worth addressing this topic separately, so that you know how I think and operate. Basically, we are all strangers and don't owe each other anything. If it came to it, each of us would not give the other a life jacket or parachute, ahead of our family and (actual) friends. There's no loyalty at play here, and where there is, it's built on shifting sand.
Accordingly, if I invest in a share, and one of you posts negatively on its BB, or on this more private one, whether genuine negativity or trying to de-ramp it for lower entry, that's 'fair game' and your prerogative. As far as I am concerned, it's all part and parcel of the AIM jungle. Guaranteed that if it's not one of you posting that FUD, some other 'total' stranger sure as hell will be ('Earl of AIM' types for example) so it makes no difference to me. Also, each BB has lots of traders posting on it, who switch hot and cold depending on whether they are entering or exiting. It's how these things work, or are worked - think of it like snipers in a shoot em up video game. If they take you out, you don't cry about the game or call them out, but factor them in when playing because its part and parcel of the game mechanics.
This BB is for exchanging tips and thoughts 'outside' the battlefield, but once we go into the game, if any of you turn out to be snipers in a share I am in, my attitude these days is fair enough (even though I might not like it). If we were operating as a syndicate of traders, then obviously things would be different. But we're not.
Generally, I have come to learn that if I am going to use BB a lot, it's better for the psychology and psyche to approach them in this way, and not get too worked up by what others post or their motivations. So good luck to all in your individual games, but watch out for the snipers :-)
