300 trades here today, compared to 400 at ORCP, but this finished up whilst ORCP was down. Would suggest that smart money profits from ORCP are coming into OMI for its big run up into results.

And we have results coming over a two month period, during the two strongest months of the year. The Anza delay might well have worked in our favour, in terms of market timing?

Anyone else wishing they had added more? Anyone else thinking they will inevitably be adding more at higher levels?

MB was asked after the last raise, whether that would be it. He did not say "yes". Now that was when he was expecting higher production from Heron 1 and 2, and sales revenue to come in by now. None of which have happened.

They don't have an approved deal and it's with the regulator. Once they get that, they will need an export licence. We know that these things are NEVER quick in this jurisdiction. They aren't going to get any quicker during winter shutdown either. Until all this is over the line, ZERO cash will be rolling into MATD, but they will continue to incur the costs of production and storage.

In these circs, i'd say a cash raise is a near certainty. When and for how much? Who knows. But the sooner its done and out the way, the better. If wrong about this, easiest thing for MB to do is to come out expressly and rule it out. All imo and dyor

You're absolutely right - a beautiful and nascent trend developing. If we get bonanza grades, then all bets are off, this could repeat the run it had last time round.

SO FAR, this is a MORE bullish candle than the one that started the previous run, including in terms of volume, and we are only at Thursday. This is also VERY similar base to the one it broke out from last time round. They do say charts repeat patterns, so is lightening about to strike twice. I think we will ALL be adding more in the days and weeks to come. GLA

The last time this happened was when BG announced the Anza deal. But then delay stopped the share price in it's track. This time we are going to breakout of this level for sure. You can just sense it and results will just catapult it even higher.

We don't know what the current finances are. What we do know is that the activities for which the summer money was raised have all been completed and presumably paid for, which means there will be far less cash in the kitty now than a few months ago. How much? We don't know. All we know is MB did not say fully funded or mention finances at all. Read into that what you will, but has to include the risk of a fund raise.

All on course so far for a run to 5p. Same thing happened during the previous leg up. After rising to 4p on opening, there was early profit taking (e.g. from those reading Bhargav on Trading) and so the share price consolidated for the rest of the day, before another run up into close. We are seeing the same pattern so far on this next leg up. It will breakout again once this consolidating is done, especially going into a possible Friday FOMO.

ORCP still going strong as well. Shows the interest in gold. Reckon the money from there will come pouring into here, as this is just at the START of its newsflow, whereas ORCP has just had its results.

Last of the 4.6p being taken up. Once done, should tick up nicely this pm and into close at 5p. Wonder whether BG might throw in something tomorrow to fuel the Friday FOMO?

And there is nothing wrong with this either. Many of these shares 'stall' at this boring DFS stage, only to then be catapulted up on financing news for construction and production. Isn't it all part of the Lassonde Curve?

As investors/traders, we just have to choose the right time to get in, which should be when we think the share price is ABOUT to go up.

Yes I guess it's too messy having two majors on board, as they often have different priorities and needs, which is what has likely happened with Newmont recently. Plenty of other active majors and medium sized operators in the area, so with the amount of work that has been done already at Anza, and the total licence package, there's a deal to be done here with ONE party. Or a sale to the chinese?

No I don't. Asking about the cash position is perfectly sensible at this point in time.

Thanks investor - I usually don't like getting into AIM shares if the finances are not in order. Best time is usually right after funding has been raised. That was true for the recent placing here as well, as the share price went from ~ 2p to around ~ 3.3p after the placing.

So waiting for the funding situation to be sorted, and then might consider it. I'm sure that's what the smart money will have in mind as well. All imo and GLA

Important to remember that we are ENTERING a period of what will be weekly to fortnightly RNS newsflow between now and end of January, as well as daily tweets. December and January are usually the strongest months of the year.

So getting in now in November, ahead of two months of likely positive newsflow could be very rewarding indeed.
