MB was asked after the last raise, whether that would be it. He did not say "yes". Now that was when he was expecting higher production from Heron 1 and 2, and sales revenue to come in by now. None of which have happened.
They don't have an approved deal and it's with the regulator. Once they get that, they will need an export licence. We know that these things are NEVER quick in this jurisdiction. They aren't going to get any quicker during winter shutdown either. Until all this is over the line, ZERO cash will be rolling into MATD, but they will continue to incur the costs of production and storage.
In these circs, i'd say a cash raise is a near certainty. When and for how much? Who knows. But the sooner its done and out the way, the better. If wrong about this, easiest thing for MB to do is to come out expressly and rule it out. All imo and dyor
