Nice to see OMI consolidating nicely this morning. These consolidations are like a platform, opportunity for some to get off the train if they have come to their destination, and others to jump onboard, or remain and add more.

(It would be good if folk could stop baiting other posters as it's not really what you want on a BB right now. Yesterday I was thinking there was a bit too much and unncessary baiting of Seingred. Previously, it has been aimed at others.

We all have our differences, but if we are all invested here, then it's in no one's interests to keep goading at times likes this. All holders should be happy that finally there are signs of life and hope here, and they have a real chance of making some cash here. And please don't respond with 's/he started it 😉)

Don't forget, the BOD have already granted themselves options. They will keep those options in the money, so another reason why it's clear that the newsflow strategy to be adopted this month will be to keep momentum in the share price.

The focus is clearly Columbia for now.

Akrigas - 7p will get taken out very easily on the next move up IF we breakout from here. It could happen on the technicals alone. But otherwise on the fundamental side, we are one RNS (either PEPAS hole, or APTA resource) away from a biggie here. But let's see how it all plays out.

Just look at the title of this thread "there's plenty of time to buy...." If that's not the clearest clue that the FUDsters don't want you to buy just now, so that THEY can buy all the cheap shares in the meantime, I don't know what is? They will soon disappear, or come back with new accounts and start ramping the heck of this stock.

Don't believe the de-ramping FUDsters don't have skin in the game. Just look how many cheap shares get accumulated in the 8s every time they post. Imho, these folk are buying or acting on behalf of the buyers. Unfortunately, it's the lengths that some people go to these days and is well know that this happens.

They have to try very hard to scare folk into selling, or manipulate the share price with sells, so that they can accumulate even more, all before the permit lands.

Do folk really think GEX would go to all these lengths if not needed by DEMIRS for the drilling permit. Or that if DEMIRS won't grant the permit with the process having been completed?

Zoom into the monthly and you will see it better. It's a classic base breakout forming up here. This first move up over the last week or so was simply going from the low of the base to the top.

If we breakout from here, it is likely to be a very big and powerful move. I'm not going to put a figure on it, and for those of you who do pay attention to the technicals (and don't dismiss them as tea leaves), then you can see the blue sky potential for yourselves. All imo and dyor (or should that be do your own technical analysis?)

All very fair points PFG, and proof is in the pudding. CMET has always flattered to deceive. But I am sure they will be on top of the figures, and I am confident that the drilling will prove up the resource even further. Also, the current resource is only a very small part of the total licence area.

The other big thing for me in the RNS, which shouldn't be overlooked, is that some of the funding now looks like it will come from Sri Lankan parters. Definitely a wise move that imo to alleviate any future jurisdictional problems and winning the PR side of things.

Surprised by the sell off, but then this is AIM, and i'm personally happy to accumulate at these prices and then see what happens over the coming months. We should get drilling results in Q1, and Q2 is not long to wait for a FID decision.

I also suspect Sheffield will come back in, somehow.

But let's see how it all plays out. Share price can only really go up from here?

Folks - genuinely very excited, which is why I held my funds for OMI. If you look at the technicals, there's a MASSIVE move up in the share price that's building up here. Firstly, we formed a very large base (two years in the making), and are now trading at the top of this base. The selling is to be expected when you reach such a level, which is why it's a level in the first place. If we can at the very least consolidate at current level, such that it becomes the new support level, then we really are in business for another big move up.

This could happen simply on the technicals, if we get some green energy building up on the chart again at 5p, but otherwise, we are literally one hole/RNS away from going into the next level on the chart, top of which looks to be 10p.

So technicals and fundamentals lining up here perfectly?

From memory, and might be way off, I think the well was drilled to about circa 2500m, and the formation that GEX want to target is 3000m.

Yes that was my initial impression too but then noticed he was saying "operations" to commence in December. But then in the Crux interview, he was asked exactly what will happen in December and he gave a more detailed explanation. That the initial plan is to do a complete inspection of the casing, make sure about the pressure, then drill out the first plug at 30metres with a (I think he said) Air Core Rig.

Then the main Rig will be brought in to do the well re-entry. That won't be until January.

Ultimately, it matters little whether it's late Dec or early Jan. The key things are getting the permit and then starting with a few weeks of that.

By the way, is the reason GEX are able to drill so cheaply because it's a re-entry, or because it's Australia? It's just that if you compare how cheaply GEX and HEX are drilling compared to the ~ £15 million or so spent by HE1 in Tanzania, it's ridiculously cheap.

Yes, that RNS was a big relief. Great news on all fronts. Now that the initial sellers are out, we should start to see this rise into the week. It doesn't take much buying or selling to move this up or down.

With almost guaranteed positive drill results to land, loading up at 2p!

You all know that I have had my occasional moans about the lack of share price impact on POW from the more successful IPOs like GMET for example. But here's the thing, when more bullish sentiment and times return here, these IPOs that have hitherto been shrugged off, might just as easily be share price drivers going foward. That's just AIM for you, when the going is bad, nothing good seems to matter, but when the going is good, everything positive gets limelight.

Chart is also looking more constructive. Is POW about to turn the corner?

Yes, but for ORCP, we would have had the whole pitch to ourselves. However, that trade will be done shortly, and well before our drilling campaign is done, which means the herd will be free to concentrate on OMI.

Selling drying up here, which should leave OMI free for a late rally today, and then into the rest of the week.

We just need to get to 6.5p and then the sky opens up for us in terms of the share price.
