Strop - not asking you to trust me and couldn't care less if you do. I'm offering my view on a bb just like anybody else. Take it or leave it like you are entitled to. I happen to be very bullish on HEX, but that doesn't mean I think it will go up all of the time and in a straight line. Far from it, I expect it to go up with pullbacks/consolidations along the way. That includes if or when we get into the 20s and the 30s.
As it happens, anyone who bought yesterday would in fact have been up by the end of the day. I still expect them to be up in the coming days and weeks.
As I understand it, regardless of who wins (if there is a race at all here, which I doubt), they get 50% of the project, with CMET owning the other 50%. Whatever shareholding they have in CMET is separate and in addition to this.
Sheffield might well hold all the aces here and low ball CMET in the long run?
A pullback at 20p was to be expected. It was always going to be a profit taking level. Once this establishes a floor for this pullback, it will then move up again just as quick. The speed of movement means you don't get much time to grab the best prices when it either dips or bounces.
If we can consolidate within this pullback tomorrow, it sets us up nicely again for another push up (on Friday?). But really, no rush as we have 8 weeks plus until we get drilling. Expect some decent RNS to land in that time, as well as Bo and DM ramping up the comms.
What price will we be at come July is the question? Hard to imagine it will be anywhere near these levels. This greyhound aint going to move like a tortoise during its most news filled period imho. GLA
It's hard to imagine SR taking a 10% stake in the company, and then CMET ending up with no deal. I suspect, therefore, that SR will make it happen, but I think the deal might not end up as expected.
If you were SR though, would you not look to box clever here, especially once LB are out of the picture?
Thanks Swissy - will take a closer look.
Looking good. Just seen 19p on the Ask. Could end up as a bullish candle with the accumulation now coming in. Exactly what we want to see in a consolidation. A strong close today and a strong close this week would be just what the doctor ordered. GLA
Swissy - i'll be taking a closer look at ARCM and GENI. What's the buying case for GENI and is it cashed up? (Feel free to point me to an earlier post if this has already been covered thanks)
The last few days have shown the interest in this stock and what it can do. You also need to factor in that we have barely got going with the newsflow here and so there is plenty to come in the weeks ahead to keep on fuelling the buying momentum.
The small free float means the moves in both directions can be volatile. HEX is just finding its new support level and once it does, you will see buyers take those shares and it will tick up again - in fact we are already seeing this in that the bid and ask have just gone up again. So could be last period to snaffle some cheaper priced shares, before Hex moves firmly into the 20s on the next push up. GLA
I think it's just normal price consolidation after a big move up. Once it settles and finds its new support level, it will be ready for another push. Because of the small free float, the moves down can be as volatile as the moves up, and of course this is AIM. You do need a bit of stomach and conviction to endure these periods. That's the reason why getting in early really helps. I'll be adding once I see evidence of the bottom in. GLA
Pullback underway - possibly last chance to get in before a move into the 20s?
Swissy - good timing on KAV. I will be disappointed if KAV doesn't bag from here in 2024, given all of the news/drilling to come. I am looking to add some more myself.
SO many good opportunities right now, which can actually make it harder!!!
Perfectly normal and expected to have a pullback after a 100% move in only a few trading days. We are not going to go up to 40p in a straight line. There will be other consolidations on the way. Gives a chance for a bit of a breather, with an exchange of shares from early profit takers to those waiting, adding or buying in for the first time and in readiness for the next leg up. This is one of the top story stocks right now and we have barely got going.
Chart is looking very constructive for another push into the 20s and to new ATH. Hold or add for more gains imho. GLA
I will take a closer look at ARCM and I am intrigued that they have a project in the KCB. Have they drilled it at any point, or do they have plans to drill it any time soon? As I said before, KAV are literally about to start a major drilling programme at the KCB with two Rigs on the ground. They are hoping to make a Tier 1 copper discovery and have secured a lot of acreage in the area.
Re KAT - is that Louis guy still running the show? He was said to be a lifestyler CEO who should be avoided at all costs. They definitely need a new project, because their previous two flagship projects ended up as mostly disappointment and dilution.
Yes itβs the introduction of FID into the process that appears ri be new. I think the JV partner might want to take a closer look at the resource and establish the upside before pulling the trigger on construction?
Thanks KR - tbh HEX looks like it has a lot more in the tank. Could end up hitting 40p pre results.
Swissy/PP - take a look at KAV for a copper play. They are also about to start drilling too at the KCB. 5000m and they have done loads of geophysics in the lead up to this. The exploration is being led by Dave Cattrell who is the regional expert on the KCB. Just raised Β£3 million from their billionaire backers at market price. The beauty is that KAV are also targeting 3 million ounces of gold in Zim. So two chances of hitting it big.
Our chartist Zak calling 27p by end of May for HEX. He has so far been very bullish on HEX well before listing ;
