I don't see the issues with the banking sector causing huge contagion, hence why i reckon oil will be at least 75 bucks for the next year. As for a "crash", well, most institutions are not going to be caught out so, i don't see a massive crash and recession in the traditional way on the horizon. Just my opinion.

I think having a refurbished fspo has diminished further the risk here. Natural disasters could strike, but history shows it's a generally safe area.

Biggest risk is macro. Surely with everything going on we should be back over 100 dollars soon?

ned. The issue that annoys most investors is that most of the cash goes on capex and we just stand still. Its pointless, unless you are an employee or the CEO.

This banking crisis will not effect demand for oil in Asia. Just with I had extra cash now.

i guess the drop is on the expectation that they cannot keep paying the same levels of divi given the slightly reduced payment per barrel. The reality is that the oil price will determine this not a few extra dollars given to our KRG friends.

i think the strategy is to use cash for acquisitions, thats always been the Blakey way...

barhut - i've been patient here, but everyone has their limits. I have probably sold out at the floor, but i have been in stocks before, with very large holdings, like i had here, where it was just not possible to get out in bulk. I have learned that lesson the hard way. Still holding a chunk here but its in the bottom of all bottom draws and is now more a gamble than an investment.

I've picked up some more today, good news flow i hope, restart, and then hopefully a deal of significance. When this restarts it should grow to 120 plus over the next 6 months, assuming no more whoopsies.
