Er, no. The MM's took their chance to capitalise on the TLW update and make money from ECO PI's. Which based on the current SP they will be the one's laughing. This stock should be nowhere near current SP.

TLW is the block's current operator, and with £750m+ off their MCAP today it understandably has had an influence upon our SP. The talk from some posters of them walking away from the region is utter tosh, they need oil discoveries and as Gill alludes, we have prospects in abundance across our block. It'll be a tough day in the office for Paul McDade, but you must speculate to accumulate; Additional capex to take to production vs. walking away ....let's not be ridiculous.

TLW as operator in our block have huge challenges as a business, and as many have discussed on this board before, they will not keep their 60%. The question is to what extent do they sell down and to whom? And will that buyer take our 15% too? Heavy oil isn’t TLW’s area of expertise, hence brining in consultants.
The news doesn’t stop our 2/2 well hit, and I’d suggest that the forthcoming CPR will provide results which will help regain todays fall.
Oil is a risky investment, but know your stock and know your timings. I for one will be topping up!!

For most on this board, the majority of the content in today's release is already known or as expected. The only minor surprise for this PI was the updated CPR timings. I like many believed that we'd see this by mid November, but it now looks to be a seasonal gift from Eco and Partners. As an operational update, I think this clarifies that the business (& partners) are not sitting on their arses, and that work is clearly on-going. Hopefully this update can arrest the recent decline in SP, but as we know nothing is ever guaranteed.

I'll eat my hat if the major shareholders in this business fall for that game. They too will have done their due diligence with regards to the value journey for ECO.

I agree re: Carapa, it shouldn't be seen a major driver of SP. I also feel we've got a better barometer from Exxon next door on cretaceous . Our 2/2 success in drills within our block 'should' have been the SP driver, but ultimately the updated CPR and results, alongside increased CoS % across the board for our H1 2020 drill targets will be. But is it just me that sees these DD's and think it looks a little pathetic? I wonder what Director will buy next if the SP makes its way lower (meaningless). If people have done their homework on this share, then they will know the value in this stock across the next 12-18 months.

I for one, as written before, am going absolutely nowhere.

Somebody wants our shares and the MMs will clearly want to facilitate those buys. I'm no market expert far from it, but are they not trying to flush the buys post Jethro result..and if that doesn't free up enough will they try the bounceback rate of 120p? Gill/Brokers/Malcy/many on here are all right, the share is hugely undervalued currently. If you have the money slice your fingers off and catch that knife as long as you're looking to hold for a year or so for real value!

What's changed?
Is ECO still a huge investment opportunity - Yes, and in fact even more so now than pre Joe-1 news.
Are the MM's still manipulating the stock - Of course they are, how else do they make a buck?
Are we still undervalued at current SP - Yes, and we will continue to be unless we stay around for full production - which we have as much chance of as Bournemouth have of winning the Premier League.
So in answer to my own question - NOTHING has changed.
Let's all just keep calm and carry on.

I am a little surprised by the market's response to our RNS. FWIW I thought after reading this morning our new range would be 220p-240p. Though does the MM's response leave me wanting to cash out? Far from it. Well done to the x10 baggers and to those who de-risked, but there's no II's getting hold of my shares anytime soon. An enormous upside on the way! GLA

@spike912 not so sure there would've been an RNS if max change time is 2 days according to @Lam1's experience. The time window for results had flex according to Gill interviews and the spud RNS stating approx 3 weeks. So time to change drive (if at all broken) and still have RNS for Wed next week. INMHO

Thanks IJWT for pushing the questions, and thanks to Lam1 for the clarification. It would be good merely for reference what the oilies think would be realistic timelines based on a 2 day change and a 25th Aug spud in shallow depth. I for one would be interested whether people think we're on the dancefloor now, and will it be rock n roll from here :)

Yes it's strange that TSX bounced in the fashion it did last night on avg. volumes. I I can't see this spike being anything to do with Joe-1, but maybe some leaked chatter re: Jethro-1/CPR?

Any update on rig positions? Malcy was out on timings for Joe-1 spud and looks like Gill’s date has passed also. Is the delay a re-thinking of rig resource and requirements as to make best use of end of year window? Also 1st post since Jethro-1 results, well done All LTH’s, and still plenty of value for any new holders - welcome along.

Interesting move by CA to acquire 200k Total shares. Getting in early ahead of hopefully positive news or maybe even a potential acquisition? CA have been involved in HUR West of Shetland targeting fractured basement plays - with strong EPS results this week.
