Let's stop worrying about the current SP movements. Shares don't follow a linear line, or move on every single piece of news. The market does not like risk any more, and that's goes double for oil stocks.
Only drill success(es) will move this share price towards the numbers some have mooted on this board or at least force a change in structure for ECO, but to be clear, success is not guaranteed - COS 43%.

I agree with Maverick7 in part, as I don't trust the majors here. If I was XON I'd be keeping a keen eye on all things ECO. Which means I'd not pro-actively release information which makes any potential future acquisition target more expensive. ECO are a small company who now sit at the table with the much bigger TOTAL, and even Tullow who hold more power.

We have limited influence on the big decisions, hence Gill's not got much to shout about until almost told - however the financing on future drills was a smart move for preservation alone.

FWIW - I'd love to see success here, but as the RNS states 'trap and seal' is a big consideration.

My point was a wider one, that greed can drive complacency and always be careful of confirmation bias on BB's.

ECO has been described In interviews with the CEO as high risk, high reward. Nothing is more true than DYOR, I'm lucky as I've a great Pal to bounce off and buddy up on reading. I feel for the poop people holding Sound today.

I'm intrigued to see what TSX has in store for today. My guess is an estimated $0.10 - $0.12 drop on a strange Friday.

Nigel IMHO our placing needed to cover two things. Firstly it needed to protect against a move from our drill partners to 'outplay' and pick-up ECO at bargain due to a lack of 'drill costs'. Secondly, GH has made it clear on numerous occasions that the question is price rather than timing, the placing allows us to wait longer for that 'price'.

I'd prefer it if this board doesn't go the way of many others, with petty name calling or passive aggressive comments. I know that my preference is 'we' agree or disagree with one another based on fact/experience/knowledge etc. Life's too short, and hopefully we all have some skin in the game here. GLA and bring on the drills.

ECO's clearly a good investment. My sentiment is that by the end of Aug I'm not sure we'll still be here in our current form. Clearly I'm hoping that'll be due to multi-participant purchase negotiation; But I'm becoming less sure of that as I too have concerns of stock purchases on-going. Am I alone with that?

What makes you think they'll release this in the near future? Wouldn't Total slow this release manged carefully with Tullow until they're all happy with what gets drilled where and 'how' first? It also helps suppress the SP for potential further investment in the short term.

ECO will continue to be suppressed as its in some larger stakeholders interest. I can't imagine we'll see the revised CPR anytime soon. Gill has mooted $600m in passing, which I think would still be a steal.....yet no-one moves. Please discuss for this non oily PI...

I appreciate that many have passed the same comments, but from a readers perspective rather than active poster; It would be great for this board to get back on point. The next twelve months will be both interesting and exciting as we 'go with the flow' WOS. Like DrBruceeBonus I've no O&G knowledge prior to investigating HUR as an investment, but I've learned and at times laughed at the insights and friendly banter on this board. Let's get back to that. I'm no oil/drilling/financial expert, I'm just another bloke with a SIPP (and with a while still to go).

I'm hopeful for HUR and am pleased with the journey to date thanks to DrT et Al. If the AM sea trials are on for 11th Aug, then we may have FOIL by late Nov18. Not checked the sweep recently from Rev, but I'm sure he'll pop up and keep us right when the time comes.

Dependent upon the data (flow rates and reservoir characteristics etc) we should then see an improved position on SP valuation and validation. For me, I'll be top-slicing along the way due to not having the balls to hold out, but Mandrill I'd like to believe that your exit will be reached by early Q1 if not before. mrJimV - there's a lot still to happen and get right before majors come knocking; but I do feel HUR are a solid explorer, but let's hope in the ST the same can be said for production.
