The bain of my life. has been in massive bear trend and lost a few hundred quid.

however there has been some activity volume wise since the new year. but no affect on price until today without an rns. got good shareholder support and expected to turn in profit butDYOR.

Share price just under 1p so have added to POM. details to follow

Bigalow says volume has nothing to do with price movement and I tend to agree with him but he trades shares and commodities not forex.

However I have added volume to my forex charts and it is clear that at crucial opening of markets i.e. 1 to 2am Asian ,6 to 7am German ,7.30am to 10 am London, 14 pm to 14.30 pm usa markets and
major news items
9, 9.30, 10, 11, 12, 12.30am, 13.0, 13.30,15, 19 pm

and closing times of markets London 16.30, usa 21, 5 to 6 am Asian
that changes of direction often occur.

why?

because the merchant bankers (feel free to substitute the b with a w) control the forex market (see Anthony krall’s webinar) and take up positions evidenced by guess what volume.

it is therefore possible to determine direction for the day/short term by volume monitoring. it becomes a little tricky if there is a short lived battle between the bulls and bears but when that’s over, further volume bursts in direction of trend confirm the stance the merchants have taken.

eur/usd is in a long term bear trend which is why my trading concentrates on bull reversal shorts but there are bull retracements from time to time so watch out for them

Doze my 3 hour chart on gold looks like its topped out with lower high and maybe start of bear trend? one caveat price at 1283 is at ema 54 which it may bounce off. time to bank profits?

imo it has been range trading between 11270 and 11470 = 200 pips since 28 Nov 2018 with exhubarance taking it to 11267 and 11493. on the 1 hour chart

sooooo could go long to 11500 or short to 11300 from present price.

sooooo ideal for a straddle until market establishes the trend.

IG don't always get it right but possible 100 pip short.

on 2nd jan said possiblle long from yesterday they got it horribly wrong long from 11440 to11540 =100 pipis. started off ok got to 11500 but then collapsed to 11300 =140 pip drop and sweet 200 pip short from 11500 to 11300.

yes Tesla great short on the 30 min chart starting dec 14 dec @18.30 and ending @ dec 28 @ 13.30 using hector's trend strategy. a cool 4,600 pips in 2 weeks. well done.
