I'M afraid your commrnt is ill conceived as it does not compare like with like.

2p to 4p =? 700k so assumed investment ?350k

PRUDENT investment in any one share 2% so ?350k investment requires a ?17.5m fund to invest

even if your chum bought at say 1p the fund required as a prudent investor would be ?8.75m

on the other hand if your chum is putting ALL HIS EGGS IN ONE BASKET he would still need a fund of ?175K to invest at 1p to produce a fund worth ?700K @ 4P

i bet/invest within my means with what i can afford to lose.

88e not so well played after all but that is aim 2 shockers of rns the latter after a misleading more upbeat one. Shocking BOD.
No chart or fundamental analysis can predict bad news although price action immediately before by in the know insiders can indicate if spotted. Volume can’t be of any help as those with substantial holdings can’t dump without alerting the market or finding a buyer

Anyway still heavily invested because of the all eggs in one basket change of strategy since my back from the brink of death episode last November.
4.9m shares in pom all bought sub 1p average 0.89p @ present bid price 0.70 in loss £9425 plus dealing costs
Also spread bets 35k a pip all sub 1p average 0.90p @ present bid price 0.70 in loss £7142
Stop profit limits set @ 1.29 just below my revised Fibonacci 1.35 and 2.61 approx midway between my Fibonacci 2.36 and 2.80 also upper end 3.8p.
and final fund
spread bets £3.5k a pip all sub 1p average 0.92p @ present bid price 0.70 in loss £890

Not for widows, orphans or indeed senior citizens who could be expected to live into their eighties and nineties. I sold out of 88E at 1.12p - I said I was going to stay longer but I made a plan to reduce my equity holdings and rebalance my portfolio so need to stick to it.

Will probably regret it but 50% gain in less than a week is better than sitting on losses for years!
