Is anyone trading via halifax share trading? if so, will this remain tradeable ? I have just logged onto their chat helpdesk but have not been able to speak with anyone yet. but if someone knows the answer then please share

Hoping someone can help.......
I have been reading the multiple posts after the disastrous news of the share price crashing.
I hold just over 80k's worth of shares which has struck to just over 30k in value. I never saw this coming and it has hit me like a bus.
I am not in a position to purchase the amount of shares that is being offered as that would be over 50k methinks.
So I need to know what my options would be....
Can I sell my current holding of shares and then buy the amount on offer as in one of my tranches I have 1500+ shares after the consolidation and have the chance to purchase 4000+ shares at the price set. Would I still be eligible to buy them if I sold that holding? Would it be worth it?
What happens if I do nothing as the Halifax says that I would forfeit them. Is that right?
I hear the term tail swallowing. What would mean to my holding if I was to pursue that option.
Any advise would be a tremendous help as the loss I am nursing like others is weighing heavy on my mind.

Just an observation from a fellow LTH.
Hoping that the winds of change aren't far away. Seeing the SP drop like this is a real sickener.
Like pretty much most of you on here this is not the xmas present I asked for. So lets hope that Mark and the board realise this and pull out the mother of all presents and give the market a juicy RNS to change the mood. Otherwise the kids are gonna have to rip their xmas list up and get the begging bucket out.

BSG can I ask if you actually own any stock here? You always criticise which is fine as we all have an opinion and agenda. If you do hold stock is your average high? If so would you not consider lowering it on the lows.
Secondly if you are in and your not happy with the way things are going why would you not sell and move on?
Thirdly if you are not involved anymore due to gain or loss why would you waste your time posting negative comments.
I have been in this share for over 5 years, and yes I am as frustrated as the next man who is maybe down a few quid but having to read your depressive outlook gets really boring and makes me wonder what your agenda is....Would you care to share as I think we would all love to hear your story.

The share price on asx.thr has peaked as high as 0.22 AUD. Wonder if it will hold and if so will the market in the uk reflect what has happened in Oz.
