Board's been rather quiet for a while so I missed the dealine!

Thanks to all who took the time to respond with some valuable insight and thoughts

So we were £20 on 31st Dec and £16 now.
What's your theories for why we've had a 20% drop in 2 weeks? And what will the next 2 weeks behold?

so what's driving the increase?
I'm it at an average of 14.277p so would be great to see a similar increase tomorrow.
Hopefully I'll be able to hold for the Long term

something like my previous experience of buying at 19p at the end of 2015 and selling at 42p at the start of 2018 would be amazing, given that I've now got many times more shares now than I did then .... £220 in 2015 :-(

You invest what you can "AFFORD" to lose. You get nothing in interest in the bank. Buying at a reasonable time (whatever reasonable is) see you investment climbing and falling on a day by day basis adds to the fun. Spreading your "luck" over a few different companies and choosing the right time to get out, be it short term or long term is always the difficult choice. My main shares are AML, ENQ, IAG and RR - 2 are currently above my purchase price and 2 below, but overall currently making an unrealised profit.
We'll eventually arise out of this COVID saga and those who bought during COVID will arise victorious with some sort of profit :-)

Bought at 165p and keepingfor the long term; UK COVID Vaccination rate gets achieved and everyone goes on Spring/Summer holidays. Good bounce back today :-)

Given the UK Lockdown announcement last night, today's SP close was much better than I expected :-)

Totally agree - it's not about the value, it's about the % increase or decrease and being prepared to listen/ignore others, win/lose, increase/decrease, high/low ..... you have to be prepared to lose it all or gain a bit/lot.
Today can be a bad day for some but a great day for others.
Choosing when to add or remove shares and the amount is always a personal decision and you have yourself to blame or thank

1/5 is a poor return £5 bet to get £1 back ... meaning that there’s a good chance of a deal being done.

Although given Boris’ statement the odds are now 2/5 meaning still a good chance of a deal but less chance than yesterday!

Yes, but (like AML) also keeping for the long term.
Not happy with the latest drop in RR Share price over the past week or so, but long term, I still see as a good investment

What is in the EU's contingency plans?
A European Commission statement published on Thursday morning said there was currently "significant uncertainty" about whether a deal would be in place by 1 January.

"Our responsibility is to be prepared for all eventualities, including not having a deal in place," Ms von der Leyen said.

The commission is proposing four contingency measures:

To ensure the provision of "certain air services" between the UK and EU for six months
To allow aviation safety certificates to be used in EU aircraft without disruption to avoid grounding
To ensure basic connectivity for road freight and passenger transport for six months, provided the UK does the same
To allow the po
ssibility of reciprocal fishing access for UK and EU vessels in each other's waters for one year, or until an agreement is reached
