I recall reading previously some time ago and elsewhere that if you had set a sell price on a share that they could not then be taken and borrowed to be used for shorting purpose elsewhere. Don't know if that is correct. Suspect not as otherwise we could all put a stop loss at £10 a share and that would tie them all up.
In the very naive and simplest of terms, if no one sells and they are looking to fill orders, eventually they have to move it up. If only everything was that simple !!!
I think the RNS would most definitely be put out same time just sometimes not reported by various agencies at the same time. How many times do you go on here in a morning and folk talking about an issued RNS but there is no little red dot? I use ADVFN and sometimes ( though not often) they can be latchy in reporting.
Just noticed out RNS from yesterday show up late over the pond and a final close price of 4 dollars. Maybe they will now get it and we will see some action on opening over there today.
Those brave enough ( and I'm not one of them) could be doing a roaring trade in building up their numbers by selling within the first 90 mins and buying back towards close . If I did it as soon as I sold it would rocket !!!
