The whole situation here seems to be rather dodgy to me... The finance is pulled quoting 'market conditions' ... Anglo state that they've had an interest in the mine for a long time. Praising how great the mine is now they're in advanced discussions with a low ball offer to 'save the project'... I would like all of this investigated. Something doesn't seem right here in my opinion...???

How about some interesting debate about what it means for either the Chapter 11 bankruptcy to be dismissed or the automatic stay being lifted tomorrow?

There is a hearing on Friday afternoon for further argument and then the court will give their final ruling within a couple of weeks following the hearing. New York Wheel alleged that Mammoet-Starneth's application for bankruptcy was only submitted to avoid litigation as the judgement against Mammoet-Starneth was inevitable. The end to this debacle is finally in sight...

from tomorrow so I'd expect most are holding to retain entitlement to the open offer so this may drop sub 0.03 tomorrow...if you're a holder I would sell tomorrow on the bell at 8am IMO

I receive a letter today saying that I need to get cleared funds on my account and post back an acceptance letter by 6th, telephone acceptance not allowed...well that's not going to happen now is it! I may have even taken up some excess shares had I been given sufficient time to accept the offer!

Yeah and I'm 30% down here too :( we really need some farm out news to get this going...hope the BOD start to deliver! Such a low MCAP for the assets we hold...just a whiff of good news should get this flying!!

This should bounce off of the placing price...obviously a decent RNS will be a great catalyst!!

Sub £3m MCAP, 3 farmouts, huge potential in Oman...BP's billion dollar prospect not too far away...can't believe the lack of interest...this share will explode on a single half decent RNS...let alone an amazing one confirming a farmout etc!

2nd holding RNS today...this one looks like participation in the placing...should get interesting next week!

Thought that the Holding RNS was due to the placing shares but it states that the date the threshold was crossed was 2nd July so they must have been buying on the open market...shows a lot of confidence IMO and hopefully we should have a good week next week (maybe another holdings RNS or two)...hopefully we get some decent media over the course of the weekend to build some momentum - GLA
