Worth remembering that the operational JV side is mainly driven/reported through BNL first. Their quarterly activities/cashflow report for the period ending 30 June should normally be due by the end of July.

That update may give more detail on Galactica/Pinon Canyon activity, including any sales income from the last quarter and early offtake progress. HE1 may therefore be waiting to align its own update with what BNL reports, rather than drip-feeding incomplete numbers.

So I wouldn’t read the silence either way yet. Frustrating, yes, but the logical reporting point looks to be BNL’s June quarter update.

There's a certain creditors outcome due one way or the other, that's the BIG LOT happening....

Update on Proposed Acquisition of Gulf International Minerals Limited

Vast Resources plc announces that, further to the proposed Reverse Takeover announced on 22 December 2025 and Company's announcement of 16 June 2026, it has entered into an amendment agreement with Bay Square Pacific Ltd to extend the long stop date in respect of the SPA to 31 July 2026 ("Longstop Date Extension").

As previously announced, trading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM has been suspended pending the completion of the reverse takeover transaction pursuant to AIM Rule 14, which requires the publication of an admission document, the approval of such a transaction at the Annual General Meeting of the Company and the readmission of the Company's ordinary shares to trading on AIM. In the interim period, the Company's ordinary shares will remain suspended from trading on AIM.

The Company continues to make progress towards completion of the Proposed Transaction and will provide further updates in respect of relevant developments in early July 2026.

Relevance to MET1

Potentially material. Not confirmed positive or negative yet, because “news pending” is basically the market’s way of saying “something is coming, enjoy the fog machine.”

The relevance is that Metals One owns 19.1% of Lions Bay Capital Inc. and also has a direct 30% interest in Lions Bay Resources, the South African gold vehicle connected to the Vantage / Barbrook / Lily mine situation. Metals One’s own site says it holds investments in both Lions Bay entities: 19.1% of listed Lions Bay Capital and 30% of Lions Bay Resources, with an option to increase LBR exposure to 49.9% subject to conditions.

So the chain is:

MET1 → owns 19.1% of LBI

MET1 → owns 30% of Lions Bay Resources directly

LBI → also connected to Lions Bay Resources / South African gold deal

That means an LBI trading halt for “news pending” could be relevant to MET1 if the news concerns:

Vantage / Barbrook / Lily mine acquisition

South African court / creditor process

funding for the LBR transaction

conversion of loans or equity interests

any update on the cogeneration plant / gold processing restart

a corporate financing or restructuring at LBI

Metals One previously announced it had converted US$1.8m convertible loan notes into 30% of Lions Bay Resources, and that LBR had acquired a South African cogeneration plant. It also said LBR’s ownership was 30% MET1, 35% LBI, 35% Salamander management.

Well I've mentally written off my meagre initial £100 holding (61,355 shares @ 0.163p), so if it does ever trade again, it will be a small bonus

I'd say it's going to be around the time BNL do their quarterly finance update, which would include any sales income., so 6 is about right :)

The last Quarterly Activities/Appendix 5B Cash Flow Report was filed on 30 April 2026 — covering the quarter to 31 March 2026.

The next one covers the quarter to 30 June 2026, due by 31 July 2026.

But the EME ticker today (and the other days) shows clearly the trades (41 today) at different time before building from 08:31:07 through to 10:23:33 (41st trade) which was visible on ADVFN - and is the case for all other days - so that's what's confusing me.

And the trade size is so specific and on the same time over the last few days - too specific to be randon

I've dropped warrants RNS into AI from the last two years to understand the various ones and dates etc.

With older ones expiring Dec 26, there's likely to be a load out there that can be sold at 2x profit at 0.12p (hence the sell) and loads of new buyers seeing the value going forward (hence the buys) - circa 150/160m each buy/sell so far today

other overhangs and ceiling as you say, so no huge maintained spike just yet, but in time I'm sure there will be (i hope !)
