It is interesting to see that the disrupters and antagonists from yesterday have all disappeared for now. I am sure they will be back when they feel they have lost control of sentiment here. It won’t matter one jot to me. Their appearance was the final positive.

The capsule is the main takeaway from the RNS yesterday plus the fact that news could still drop at anytime.
Perversely, and as Spurs pointed out, there won’t be anything sensitive discussed next week. Thinking about that, the very fact that the caveat has already been mentioned in the RNS means that there is plenty going on in the background that cannot be discussed - I view that as a further positive.

Very upbeat and a good update overall.
It doesn’t matter where sp goes in the short term. The opportunity has been laid out for all to see.

I believe there must be a further RNS to come before the presentation in order to allow certain responses to obvious questions.
There is a s also a reiteration that Sareum aims to produce value through licensing. So multiple licences may be the commercial route forward.

Excellent post Mafuta - witnessing the same here in Scotland. Bad weather driving people into cafes bars and restaurants. The Scots are more strict and cautious but it seems that a surge is inevitable.

Not sure they are late Stoney. I would agree that if they do not arrive this week then they definitely are.
If the developments are as significant as we all hope and expect them to be we may get more than a RNS due to the sheer enormity of what we have. As for the sp, it really should be heading North.

We would be mugs to attempt to guess the sp. Fraught with dangers.
Strategically, the BoD must act in the best interest of us shareholders. It is the shareholders that own the Company and not the Directors.
So the surfacing of the patent - to me - indicates that we have the opportunity for multiple licences in multiple diseases which is a huge long term opportunity.
A buyout is possible but it would have to be significant for us all to vote for it. Why do that if nobody knows it’s true value in all of these different markets.
To me, this is a fantastic opportunity for Sareum to leave an indelible legacy for the world of medical science whilst making significant sums of money for us shareholders.
Once in a lifetime opportunity! Sit on those hands

I think we can all conclude that, barring an unforeseen disaster, this will be many multiples of its current levels whichever route the BoD take.

It’s an interesting conundrum Unite but what a position to be in!

It is worth pointing out that the BoD acts in the best interest of its shareholders and not in their own self-interest.
When, and if, we get deals in the table and revenue coming into the business then the strategy will unfold. There is also succession planning in any business dependent on the BoD strategy.
It is perfectly plausible for the existing directors to retire and sail off into the sunset but to leave a very healthy business in their wake and in the hands of newly recruited Directors.
I think they will be professional enough to act in the best interest of shareholders. That may also include a buyout at £1 per share etc:

Hi Utah. Secret patent has not been revealed or granted yet so still to come. Yesterdays patent granting had been signalled a few months ago and ratified yesterday. Hope that clears it up.
The 18 month period for the submarine (secret) patent to surface and to become visible was yesterday so, in theory, should be visible as of today. We wait with bated breath
I also agree with Jamesp earlier in that somebody does not want to see the sp above 7p. This has been a recurring theme for several weeks and has already led me to speculate that there might be an "Iceberg" trade taking place.

Mike2129 - most of us here have experienced and lived the downside for several years. Also, why would you want to be glass half empty with your own investment.
Instead of grumbling why don't you state your opinion as opposed to attempting to pi55 on others. That way you may well get a debate

Hope you are right James - even if no news the veil may well be lifted on the patent detail and I am sure we will all be onto it in a flash.
It would be great if it was accompanied by a RNS irrespective of the limited reporting scope Sareum may have at the moment.
