On the other hand signing up might increase. The restaurant sector is in, and approaching hard time’s so signing up to BigDish with the bonus of free adverting seems like a life saver.
Plus with everyone cooped up inside over the next few months, when given the green light to get back to a normal routine EVERYONE will be out dining.
Now is the time to increase signups. If the team fall Ill they can still call from home. The argument could even be made that an outbreak like CV19 couldn’t have come at a better time for BigDish. If I owned a restaurant I would surely be signing up right now, 100%!
JSmith & ART both good points I feel. We really could see new lows here with such great uncertainty for restaurants to operate as normal and markets crashing.
Yet if Tom and the team continue to work then BigDish is surely the Doctor for the restaurants and will seem more appealing than ever! We are not in giant revenue stage, we are building the company, and telesales calls don’t have to stop. If Bigdish were still using the ‘boots on the ground’ strategy we would be screwed, but we’re not so we should believe we will continue to see BigDish grow.
Razel, it’s completely up to the restaurant to decide maximum number of people per discount offered using the merchant app. I just checked a few restaurant’s in Bristol and one offered two people, another four and the other six.
ART are you going through the Menopause?
Trump you make some great points, why leave when you have free advertising on the app? Anyone who downloads the app and looks at participating restaurants in their area are going to be advertised your restaurant if it’s on there! No brainer.
And surely the telesales team are mentioning to restaurants that they will bump up marketing once they reach a certain number of restaurants. I wouldn’t want to miss out on that if it were my business.
