NH, you may well be right re m/cap for GGP

But rightly or wrongly, I tend to work off the charts for targets once Im confident of a harmonic and ignore ething else (ish)

Look at RMP; in theory and fundamentally what happened both on Fri and today shdnt have happened...and Fri's drop seemed overdone w.r.t. the rNS but charts indicated it wld conintue to drop until levels dictated, same for PHD yet today both rising...

Im not saying I ignore fundies altogether but at mo, GGP has 2.1 and 2.7 so ....fingers, toes and nose crossed hehe!

GGP always tends to surprise with sudden quick sharp swift rises...:)

On a longer t/f, Ithere may be higher targets than even 3.1p but I prefer to take it a step at a time b/c on a LT there is greater volatility and ability for the sp to rise and fall through greater extremes

Short t/f charts more precise if I can spot a harmonic. That's they way I work anyhow, different for everyone I suppose:)

gapped up on open last night but noticed how they rarely sustain their rises/upper moves and lose gains v easily in spite of news (lies) re Trade Deals (BS) from Trump (Liar)

Imagine what will happen when Deal is finally done (if ever) and it dawns upon most the deal means diddly squat as it doesnt change economic data (scary, poor, weak, rubbish, dropping, low,)....and if the Deal falls through, imagine what THAT will do to the markets!!

Markets like a 10 storey high skyscraper being propped up on stilts currently...imho

It doesnt work like that Im afraid, if we knew where it wld retrace to from 2.5p, we'd all be millionaires b/c then we cld predict any move and know where it wld retrace to on any timescale but we cnat 'predict' that...

In addition as 2.5p is not even a target, then there is nothing to say it wld retrace from that level...

Factors such as the time frame also affect what we're looking for...so retraces will be different for 1 min t/f c.f 1 hr c.f. 4 hrs etc

Once the final target is hit of this/any harmonic, there is likely to be a retrace but I tend to look for new emerging harmonics before the final target is hit to try and figure out where it is going both in the ST and also LT.

But I ALWAYS slice/bank at T3 (and also at T2) else what's the point in taking the trade? ie pointless to see profits disappear...better to bank some than none imho...

Retrace can be any of the main fib levels but it is not of the fibs shown in my charts; the retrace can be a % of the *most recent* move which will have its own fib levels rater than the overall longer term chart I show...does that make sense?? HTH??

shd trade as they want BUT have a **reason** for doing so ie for holding, selling, slicing, banking, buying, shorting etc

Dont do ANYTHING on a whim or a hunch or following the bleeding herd especially. It **rarely** pays off.

At least if you can justify to yourself why you're doing what you're doing with that trade, then you will have confidence in taking that position rater than being swayed by anyone else....and only ourselves to blame if we make a wrong choice....
