I just checked Daz. Slap on wrist for me. It wasnt the alerts system. I redid all my Alerts recently as changed my watchlist and holdings quite a bit lately and forgot to add UKOG as I only bought back in on Monday. Ooooops!! Ive 2 sets of alert systems and shd have knownn I was at fault when neither was going off! Thanks:)

The truth is no-one knows re placings Daz. I dont like to speculate on that area as I don't know, no-one does, and you wont find out by asking anyone:) In addition, sometimes the placings can be forward sold (illegal) but happens....or you may get those that were oversubscribed which is positive eg SEE I think had that scenario... To give any other response wld be be pure speculation.....:)

Morning Daz:) Why wld you suggest a placing? In fact, why is that the first thing most pis seem to suggest on bbs nowadays??! In any case, that's not a question that **any* pi wld know so imho it's absolutely pointless to ask that question on any bb as no-one wld know prior to an RNS stating so for *any* share.....irrespective of what most pis claim to know and not know.....:) As for buying in, yday's levels were a good opp'y to start phasing in due to the retrace.....but if you have your levels, stick to them!:)

Wldnt ordinarily have got involved tbh but with a select few ramping past month & stating every conceivable fact incorrectly re. recent RNS's, clinical trials, outcomes etc, 'waded' in as of a few weeks ago and ended up outstaying my welcome (lol) due to the increasing level of 'inaccuracies' (aka 'untruths').....Main culprit disappeared on yday's drop of 30%+...... Broke key levels yday but failed to close above and dropped back down twice after attempting to rally. Hs resisted a sig't dropin spie of the $'s increasing strength which bodes well for gold longs but still, Gold has as of yet failed to rally. Usdjpy's strength has also failed to knock gold down as much as one wld have expected, imo at least! Possible it's going to take a news event to break this one way or another.......else yields cld do it shd $ continue..... Much more interesting PMs out there imho! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....;)

Strong dollar, mentioned its stubborness, over the past few weeks, resisting any major drop, once again hit the bears yday rallying to new recent highs. Could eventually begin to hit commodities shd this continue, esp oil though has to be said Gold is actually holding up very well considering..... Hit the main FXs whose trend (rise) of the past 1-2 wks has been completely undone within 24-36 hrs!! Obviously the euro wasnt helped by ECB's decision to hold off interest rate rises....

The dollar actually managed to break recent highs!! :) Euro's biggest drop since 2016 within that timescale....!

Ras, my understanding of why the euro tanked 250+ points is the fact that QE is delayed as is an interest rate rise whereas the market was expecting QE to be tapered off immed. This caused uncertainty, unexpected news leading to volatility and sell off for the euro. Holding off interest rate rises didnt help either though a cheaper euro helps with exports..... In addition, the ECB decision will have led to rates being destroyed in Europe, which will most likely lead to crushing US longs also, and thus forcing yield curves down (already started yday)...... That in turn may most likely lead to the fact Fed cant increase rates anymore this year, irrespective of what they said on Wed. ECB's decsion yday cld actually affect US!

No, I wldnt be calling against breakout but then, said a long time ago, 3.0+ were targets before NG retreats!! It's held for 2-3 wks now within limited range and dble tops have nevertheless provided several excellent shorts, esp following yday's drop....and similar, longs from above 2,88 and 2.92 in past 2 wks. Coiling getting ready to break....imo..... Range bound and trading accordingly!
