As with many of the medium to longer term holds, form a solid base and move up steadily from there. Hopefully the lows are now in and it's simply a case of wait for news.

Wldnt personally waste time watching it on a daily basis if holding for MT-LT+. Positive news/RNS will hopefully move this in the right direction .....in time (imho) :)

Cant close above 3.0 to give bulls hope for new higher highs and wont close below 2.9 to give bears hope of a fall.

Patience will pay off as per gold imho but until then #Borrrrrrring.... :)

I suspect the low is not in and as said repeatedly, any rise or rally wld be short lived and we wld most likely see lower lows....

Strong dollar, spiking usdjpy, devaluation in currencies such as the yuan all contributing to the current demise of poor gold's sp.

In a climate as volatile as this, if gold isnt going to rally now, well , when will it?! No longer the safe haven it used to be...

performance has been outstanding since the heavy and abrupt drop at the highs almost 4 wks ago.

Recovery since last wk following OPEC and now with sanctions being imposed left, right & centre by Trumptie/blocking out Iran has taken Wti to (my exit level of)as of dble top yesterday.

Oil is currently buliish so a further rise wld not surprise *but* oil is also overbought and apparently no longer mirroring 10yr Treasury Bond yeilds which it had done so previously meaning one of those is out of sync....

Im no techie at all but learnt a tincy bit these past few months and was waiting for double top. It got there!!! I wasnt going to throw in the towel this morning based on other techs, EWT etc. Oil's put me through too much this past month to let it beat me! ;)

I'm aware oil has higher targets but intend to scalp now as it's at a point where too precarious to hold long term and has had one heck of a rise since last week gaining prob $5-6+.

Fix, I got my rise and I went against all techs I know but waited 4 weeks for this level ever since lows were hit and held a core position so wasnt going to close this morning. Data at 15.30 went my way thank goodness.

Banked, out and will only scalp hereon as oil is now bullish but techs suggest it is currently overbought...

Core holdings closed ; too much stress and volatility in oil over past 4 weeks though patience luckily paid off. I need a break................;)

I will now 'obey' your Elliott charts as my dble top was almost reached....Need a lie down. Oil is a bleep!! :D :D
