i dont know when it'll hit 40p - sometime the next six months - im pretty confident of that my immediate short term target is 30p next week or two, as it is due a big bounce from the current oversold position the company has taken a lot of action to prepare for the lean times of 2009/2010 - any slight improvement in its prospects will see these back to their 40p plus levels imo GL

prelim results in 3rd week of February - expecting £20-£30m proifts for 2009 There will probably update on 2010 trading as well Its 2011 that Im more interested in - as the market looks 12-18 months ahead

GL PDG were going for 21p just a week or so ago, but ill think there is still a lot of rise left in this share - but timing the buy is all crucial - good luck with this if you decide to jump in My personal opinion is tha we wil see 30p next week or two - but there's no guarantee!!

just the beginnming of a correction of an oversold position the market has been too focused on new car sales - but used car sales have been very strong and generate higher margins - remember the car dealer has to stump up £1,000 for the the car scrappage theyve also cut £60m off overhead costs so no real reason for the fall from 45p i predicted a strong recovery several weeks back - and looks like its started GL everyone - this is a delayed Xmas present

Pendragon (PDG) Ive used several methods of valuation here, and they all poin tto a significanty hige valuation For example, there are 288 dealerships - each has a valaution of less than £600,000 at the moment - in the past, dealerships have been selling for several millions each Plus group is profitable with profitability likley to increase significantly going forward - cant see much downside here

Sorry off topic Pendragon (Uk's largest car dealership) halved from 45p in recent weeks, clearly oversold on new car sales outlook fears. But second car sales strong and likely to grow and these have a better margin! So fears not really justified. Currently 24p, these look to have hit the bottom and turned the corner. I expect signficant rise next week, upto 30p and beyond imo GL and DYOR as well
