I think you have a very, very good point. I dont think POTUS would like any film glorifying China being shown in theatres. Releasing on a streaming service avoids the fury of POTUS. Like Disney says, its a one-off. They are not abandoning cinema. They made that clear I think.

Very little effect on AMC share price in US.

I think this is a bad move by Disney and they will make a lot less, and when they see how much Tenet makes in the cinemas, they will realise that you can only make big bucks on the bjg screen.

Disney have also said that this is a one-off while lockdowns are in place.
