It's not a great situation for sure and 90% present loss must be painful.

Via further chat to Trading 212 it now seems I can not do a partial transfer of shares and would have to transfer my entire ISA portfolio. I am now minded to sell and rebuy via IG ISA and recoup the loss in time after this proposed delisting and indeed hopefully make some profit. It seems to be an internal 212 policy so may not apply to other brokers and ISA rules in general always need to be considered. HALIFAX are not on the AQSE list so shares need to be transferred.

I now think that it is not always possible to do just a transfer of the CLAI shares from ISA to new broker. Trading 212 initially said yes as l could if transferred to current/share dealing account but now another rep is saying whole portfolio transfer only regardless! It seems that both sides need to accept the partial transfer and Trading 212 may not do so. Still investigating.

It is stated that the IG share custody fee is not applied if there are 3 trades within the quarter and no figures are given in relation thereto but seems too good to be true.....

Bearded Dragon Barclays are on the list of Aquis Stock Exchange retail broker members but Lloyds/Halifax are not.

Ps @LOK could be general ISA transfer rules apply regarding partial/full transfer/previous tax years etc. so people need to consider all especially if large amounts are involved. I no worriedc about CGT so dont need ISA for this albeit preferred. I also prefer Trading 212 for my purposes so will wait for the shares to go up then sell all. Awaiting transfer then I will take it from there. It will be useful to have AQSE broker to hand but there is a share holding custody charge.

@LOK if one is doing a transfer of some of the shares from original Trading 212 ISA shares account you have to transfer to general Shares Dealing account. I think after that you have to sell and then repurchase via an ISA account with the same broker if necessary. The transfer I think means the shares are automatically converted to ASQE when it happens and one can carry on trading as before and onwards. I think if one is minded to transfer the whole original ISA portfolio one can transfer over to a new ISA with the new broker but people need to check this. I don't have any real concerns regarding CGT so what I have done suits me.

The instructions I have given apply to transferring just my CLAI shares rather than my entire portfolio so with regard to a partial transfer one has to open a general Shares Dealing Account. I was speaking to them again today and they said it should take about a week.

I did mine through IG as they told me upto 14 business days and I could email the form. HL told me had to be initiated by post and could take 4 to 6 weeks and if shares delisted before the transfer they would reject it. I think 4 to 6 weeks might not be the reality and should happen quicker but the postal initiation would slow it all down so went to IG to avoid complications/delay. For IG one opens a share dealing account and clicks on Stock Transfer via the website and ultimately one completes a form, prints out, signs, scans then emails. Once account is opened there is an email with helpline telephone numbers.

Not that easy HL said 4 to 6 weeks and would reject if delisted before transfer. Someone suggested IG but in both cases only by post for me as with Trading 212. Ideally looking for online application with Trading 212 already on their list?

Yes agree 4 to 6 weeks is crazy . I will bear IG in mind thank you. Hoping someone has succeeded to do all online with Trading 212 in the frame as time is of the essence....

Any thoughts as to whether this is likely to end up with a voluntary delisting by this company and transfer over to Aquis where I think the regulations are more flexible?
