Does anyone in here have had any dealings with Anglo African Oil and Gas. They are currently suspended, and I'm not sure if they can come back or not. Need to do some more research....However I wonder if this investment might be a way for Paul Forrest to get AAOG back onto the market.
I say speculative in the heading as that is exactly what it is, but worth having a deeper look into. If anyone has more info on AAOG please share.
Thanks, had a look on companies house...but always better to get it from the horses mouth as they would say.
The company he invested in is Trafalgar property group (TRAF) which is basically a loss making house builder....400K market value.
They recently invested in Hydroponics, but seriously not much there and as such my surprise in him investing there. He bought the shares through Forum Energy Services, which from companies house he owns 75%+ of the shares.
Well also looking at averaging down even more.....but trying to get it spot on (very rarely do). With the latest share issue my holding got a bit diluted :)
Put a message on the Angus board to try and get a feel for Paul Forrest. Would be good to get an idea of what investors over there think off him as that would give us an idea of what we could expect.....
Apologies first as it's about one of the directors rather than Angus...
Yesterday Paul Forrest (through one of his companies) invested into a company that I'm heavily invested in. The weird thing is the company is not in the mining industry at all.
So I just wanted to get a general feel for how people perceive him over here as I don't know what to expect from the purchase...is he looking at a take over? Or will he invest into the market the company is in?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think it's the same party that's been selling for the last few months but they should be almost out now......
Just find it very weird that a company that invest effectively in gas/oil is interested here! Maybe diversifying into hydroponics or some kind of take over....what ever it is at least it brings a bit of excitement to this share, as it's been dead for a while.
This is weird....Forum Energy Services description on company house: Support activities for petroleum and natural gas extraction
Paul Forest is the only Director and he is also a director of Angus Energy that is a listed company....
Lots of small sells going through with the bid slowly rising. Maybe a big buy being worked in the background. Will see after hours.
So here we are....£125k raised at 0.1....
Good in the fact that it means we aren't going under in the next..........months.
Bad in the fact that it has diluted us.....but even worse as it's being used basically to keep the company afloat. I will be back on their case on Monday with some demand on a business plan as to how they are going to be using the funds to actually create some value for shareholders rather than just paying themselves for another few months....
Watch's this space....if it wasn't for me having a few drink behind me that email would have gone of today. But at present the profanity that would be going across would probably be a bit to much...being professional and all that.
Thanks, but it seems people are selling into the gains of yesterday. Still sitting on my now 21m shares....waiting to hear on what's going on with the Hydroponics.
This share doesn't seem to be much liked by the market and the spread doesn't help (although at present not to bad). I think it will need some news on the hydroponics to get it moving in the right direction.
I wonder how much their property portfolio is worth - as in the ones they rent out. As then it should really be taken into consideration when P/E ratio's are worked out. Or am I sitting the pot miss?
O and how nice it will be if they bring us a nice little update on the hydroponics as well...
It seems like we do have some action today.....may it last a long time. I'm hoping we will get an update on the hydroponics soon as that is what will add real value here. And from the info on the 1st June I'm hoping that is not to far away....
