The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Why doesn’t everyone just say ‘we have no idea what we’re talking about’
I have been on here for a few months and almost everything anyone on here has said , hasn’t happened.
Let’s wait for the results and then we can just either start crying or celebrating.
So I post about the RNS tonight and the conversation goes left field , have I overestimated the significance of this, I think this could provide us with some real positive news.
Maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree?
I can see COPD and Covid. Only my opinion. This is the perfect time to release.
29th June is gonna be some day of agony, looking at past history, summary of meetings is released the same day. It will be extremely price sensitive so I doubt they’d take a risk waiting.
Here goes don’t lynch me just expressing my feeling.
I miss the trials and tribulations of this share going up and down and creating a bit of fever round it. The board and the share price has dramatically reduced ha ha.
One thing that has bothered my is over the past few weeks , lots of people have made predictions, me included, it some have been very specific. Ie it will be £1 by end of week, and RNS is coming in next few days , a takeover is on the cards. We will soon hear about the results.
Most of these comments are never backed up , just A hunch, it’s bizarre that as we stabilise all the comments have stopped , does my but in. Please if you’re gonna predict can we have a caveat that you explain your theory. Maybe we should have a weekly/daily predictions thread then we can clap or point and laugh to how often people are getting it wrong.
Anyway rant over. I’m ready to get fired at. Duck
I totally get that and I hope we do get approval, I just couldn’t understand why the big hype as nothing new changed apart from it being listed on a site that posts trials that happen in every corner of the world or why nolubus was getting such a hard time for stating that, I’m not sure what I’m missing.
Following on from yesterday. Where is the info that shows that this means US is involved?
Again I would love nothing more than this being of significance, but again I see this as nothing more than a website advising of a trial happening in UK and nothing more
Quote from the site
‘Explore 338,999 research studies in all 50 states and in 210 countries.
ClinicalTrials.gov is a resource provided by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
IMPORTANT: Listing a study does not mean it has been evaluated by the U.S. Federal Government. Read our disclaimer for details.’
Again not trying to start anything, trying to understand, surely it’s just a sweep of info of studies that are happening round the world.
They added this study yesterday for cancer from China yesterday as well , does that mean every study they announce on here they’re going to get involved in??
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04385316?lupd_s=05%2F05%2F2020&lupd_e=05%2F13%2F2020&draw=2&rank=9
All it tells me is this site is a bookmark for Trials happening round the world and nothing more , but no one is explaining to me that’s it’s anything different?
I truly hope I’m proved wrong.
Ok with the risk of throwing the cat amongst the pigeons.
I agree with Nolupus
This is surely data that has been shared on A US website about a trial that is happening in the UK, it doesn’t state anywhere that it’s happening in America.
I’m not looking to create, however if I’m genuinely missing something please could you explain exactly what I’m missing, I would love nothing more for it to be the case but I’m trying to understand how the conclusion have been drawn.
