'Stepping up a gear' - re automotive contract, I like the pun Beamer21... Yes, positive news indeed..!
Hi - I'm still here. Yes, there is quite a lot of info on ADVFN, put up by poster Pet Lover (not Cat Lover! lol). Quite a bit of it is interesting, though I feel he maybe posts a bit too often & repeats. It's clearly irked a few with negative views about 7DIG as they troll him...
No need to paste your email Carpking. It was sent as private communication to you. Due to AIM/LSE Rules the CEO will have been mindful of issues of price sensitive info etc. If was a CEO and my emails started getting pasted in forums etc I'd likely decide to stop the courtesy of personal responses and direct all enquiries to the PR team. I emailed some months ago & received a positive response which I appreciated, nothing of price sensitive nature but interesting. I didn't feel polite to make it public.
Hi Tallchad.. TP is Target Price, re the 26p Target Price in Investec's research note. Cheers & GLA
I see there's quite a few Buy's going in, including one of 226k on Friday.. Ticking up a bit lately - nice...
Interesting, large trade of 750k shares @6.519p, £48k's worth on Friday afternoon... Someone def buying up....
Here's a link from This is Money (Mail on Sunday) website with more info re Miton & Gervais Williams:- http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/investing/article-2950520/Gervais-Williams-tips-AIM-stocks-best-tough-times.html
FinnCap has today reiterated it's 'Corporate' recommendation with a 38p target price.
That's another interesting Research note from Edison, they are pretty bullish on growth potential having completed the Snowite acquisition... Re trades, positive to see large trades going through, £42k worth today & delayed notification of £39k from Friday - both appearing to be Buys.. Also worth mentioning, like iainbarclay, a couple of my 'Buys' in past have shown as 'Sells'...
I see both FinnCap & Investec have re-iterated their recommendations. I would agree with 1210, while I'd likewise be happy if the share price rose to the target 32p, I'm not expecting that as a certainty in the 12 month timescale. I do likewise too believe though that value and good company development is being is steadily being built/made via this aquisition and ongoing contract wins.. I'm still in for the long term. As Mickey2099 says, management is key, and I do think 7DIG has an excellent team which will be strengthened further when they attract as I'm confident they will do a quality CFO.
Here's an interesting research note on 7digital by Edison Investment Research:- http://www.iii.co.uk/equity-research/lse:7dig/7digital-snowite-and-7digital Note that reference is made that 7digital is a research client of Edison Investment Research Ltd...
Yes, Imagine Technologies have completely divested their holdings. Good to see it cleared.
It will be interesting for sure to see the results.. I'm hoping the Snowite purchase has been successfully concluded so its integration can start, plus other contract news going forward. I nipped in for a few also.
Yes - someone is buying - but don't forget there were some large sales recently and the large Shareholders who undertook those sales both still have relatively large holdings, so may still sell into any strength as crash2016 said. It's going to be interesting to see what transpires in next couple of weeks whatever happens. Hopefully positive news re completion of Snowite SAS & further deals/contracts as well as improving figures moving towards profitablility..
Yes - some large volume the last couple of days. However I wouldn't have expected much action until the Finals Announcement due on 31st March. I wouldn't think it's Director Buying as the Company would be in it's 'Close Period' surely...?
@BigTee123 & FredBassett - re the Trades - take the designations as 'Buys', Sells' etc with a pinch of salt - they are not strictly accurate, but just a best guestimate of comparison between trade price and bid/offer spread prices. The 'black' trades means the feed is unable to even guesstimate. Several times I have purchased shares but seen them designated as a 'Sell' order via the trades feed. It is one of the gripes of retail investors that the exact designation of the trades isn't 100% accurate. Well, Crash2016 did turn out to be right - they did hit 7p (actually 5p if you take into account the trade price the large line went through at.) It will be interesting to see any RNS announcements re changes in Holdings. I do still believe in long term prospects of the company.
I agree with djralford, I believe this is a pullback. The share nearly tripled without pause, at a time when the market was largely tanking. It was inevitable there would be some profit-taking, though yes likely exacerbated by the news of the NE resignation and major shareholder reducing holdings. I too still believe that the company has excellent long-term potential, and this will be supported by continued positive newsflow re contracts and future profitability. I believe it was unrealistic to expect that the recent meteoric rise was sustainable in the absence of this, and I'm content enough to see some of the froth blow off and short-termers shaken-out. I'll probably nip in for a few more myself...
Yep - certainly a busy day's share trading for 7DIG so far. I wonder if there's been a mention in this weeks IC or one of the tipsheets re last weeks trading update and Directors Deal announcements?
I certainly wouldn't see it getting near 38p in short-term. That would likely be acheivable once a proven track record of profits established. I'm in for long-term, and prefer steady increase based on positive news flow and profits down the line, and business expansion rather than short-term sometimes speculative 'spikes' which then aren't sustained.
@iainbarclay - yes I agree, although Ben Drury still holds over 11% of the shares in the company , and it was advised that he had no further plans to sell more, and that the sale was to satisfy a tax demand, the tick down in the share price started around that time. The newsflow since has been positive, and I likewise have averaged down.I'm confident about the progress being made, recent news is positive and the recent sizeable purchase by Don Cruickshank adds to this.
