Lochard Energy Group Plc (AIM: LHD, ASX: LHD) announces that, having received an approach, it is in discussions which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of the Company. The discussions are at a preliminary stage and there can be no certainty that an offer will be made for Lochard or as to the terms on which any offer would be made. Accordingly, shareholders are not presently required to take any action. The Company, which is being advised by finnCap Ltd, will make a further announcement if and when appropriate.

Biome was notified on 6 May 2011 of the following purchases by directors. John F Standen, non-executive Chairman, purchased 1,463,118 ordinary shares at 0.24 pence per share on 6 May 2011. Following this transaction, John Standen's total shareholding in Biome is 25,708,168 ordinary shares, representing 0.44% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.Biome was notified on 13 May 2011 of the following purchase by a person discharging material responsibilities: Paul Law, managing director of the Bioplastics division, purchased 3,875,969 ordinary shares at 0.258 pence per share on 13 May 2011. Following this transaction, Paul Law's total shareholding in Biome is 20,694,560 ordinary shares, representing 0.35% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. In addition, Paul Law has unexercised options over 49,288,525 ordinary shares in aggregate. Paul Law also has an interest in the Company's shares through his participation in the Company's Public Equity Plan under which he was granted 140,000 points on 4 October 2010 (further information is set out in the Company's Annual Report and Financial Statements). Paul Mines, Chief Executive, purchased 1,105,583 ordinary shares at 0.24 pence per share on 6 May 2011. Following this transaction, Paul Mines' total shareholding in Biome is 50,403,192 ordinary shares, representing 0.86% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. In addition, Paul Mines has unexercised options over 144,372,636 ordinary shares in aggregate. Paul Mines also has an interest in the Company's shares through his participation in the Company's Public Equity Plan (further information is set out in the Company's Annual Report and Financial Statements).

5 Nov 10 - 'GreenTech outfit Biome's revenue in the first nine months of 2010 rose 27% to £10.3m from £8.1m on a like-for-like basis. This reflected a 42% increase in bioplastic sales, a 106% increase in sales in Stanelco RF Technologies division and a 9% increase in third party sales at joint venture, Biotec.
