I agree, MDV doesn't instill hope, speaks rather superficially, and has next to 0 charisma, aside from all of Vod's recent business blunders.

SP would react positively to news of a sacking.

That's a bit exreme, they are still printing money and Vod's services might as well be considered utilities in 2023. Worst case is a dividend cut/suspension and maybe a few asset sales, and the balance sheet would right itself in short order.

Of course news of a dividend cut will likely send SP downward quickly.

Sell and buy back on the very last trading day of 2023.

New shareholder from across the pond here. This stock seems to be absolute dogwater. Bought in at 66.9p or so, seems its going to be victim to tax loss selling through the end of the year.

Hah I know Commodore64 well, he's Kain_C64 on Stocktwits. He may have been talking about me lol, I'm holding 210k shares and my father in law has 250k shares. Unfortunately I paid a little over $3 for my shares, my pops paid a little over $2 though, lucky fella.

The halt should have no material downside for Polymetal, any potential downside is 100% sentiment based. Polymetal itself is not sanctioned, however since it derives more than 50% of it's revenue from Russian assets, the company has been placed under a do not trade list. That being said, as far as the day to day company operations, things should very well still be business as usual.

This updated guidance is why Polymetal was halted on the OTC market, you can see from the article that investors can hold their Russian investments without penalty, they just can't purchase more *for now.*

This is good, but must of the borrowings were in USD from international banks I believe. When they refi at the end of the year yes it will help big time.
