Hi RMM - I agree entirely, Stephen Parker was simply following legal process.
It will be interesting to see how the BoD respond to detailed questions. In particular we need to know the basis of Tim's comment 'we are confident that this amendment will expedite the advancement of the SRA737 programme in a timely manner'. Is this wishful thinking, a nod and a wink from Dilly or what?
In my view Tim's response to the question re PR/Comms was wholly inadequate.
Re 1801 - the total lack of any sense of urgency is absolutely astonishing given the perilous state of the world. I expect Stephen Parker is on the case though given his extensive commercial experience and broader world view.

PS - The company’s programs in DDR, in-licensed from Cancer Research UK and Masaryk University, are looking to create next-generation DDR therapies that could be PARP 2.0, building on the success of AstraZeneca and Merck & Co.’s Lynparza as well as GlaxoSmithKline’s Zejula.

Apols if previously posted - deal between Merck and Artios provides further validation of the DDR approach.

It would be helpful to understand on what basis Tim recently noted in respect of the revised CRT/Sierra license agreement '...we are confident that this amendment will expedite the advancement of the SRA737 programme in a timely manner'. It certainly feels that something is brewing.

Hi RMM, well said, I absolutely agree.
The AGM format will stifle any opportunity for proper challenge. Certainly all questions submitted to the BoD either through the system or via email should be made available for all to see.
I would only add that a dynamic, professional and responsive communications/PR strategy would go a very long way to allay the ongoing frustrations/concerns expressed by many. It's a shame that we don't get to vote on the retention of Citigate, who on the face of it appear to be a total waste of space. All IMHO

Would the award of the Grant Letter by UKRI obligate Sareum to issue an RNS? It seems wholly implausible that UKRI have taken over a month to rubber stamp the award.

Hi Potnak - absolutely take your point that Covid is a sideshow and that cancer/immunotherapy will be the main value drivers. That said Tim has confirmed that Sareum is jumping on the Covid bandwagon and has been provisionally awarded a grant. It is wholly reasonable to expect a timely update as to the final sign off of the grant by UKRI and confirmation that work is underway.

Hi Sadoldgit - yes, how long does it take for a committee of inky fingered pen pushers to sign off a small grant during a worldwide emergency.

PS - certainly absolutely no sense whatsoever of the expeditious and timely advancement of the SRA as referred to by Tim.

Dilly makes reference to the renegotiation of the agreement at 24mins 5 seconds into the presentation....sounds as wooly and unconvincing as Glover IMO. How intensely frustrating this must be for Tim and John!
