Well this is getting painful. I've got a low average and am still looking at a 50% loss.
We all know they were going to issue the 1m as shares but I dont like the sound of this GM. Looks like they are wanting to increase the number of shares they can issue in one period.
Would like to see the detail on the new plan with oga
Gas to wire should be good but as discussed before I dont think it will make too much difference to the overall income
Hydrogen is coming there are a number of articles on mixing hydrogen with natural gas in the liverpool network and plans are underway.
Biomass is a good way of getting it and vastly under used. Crossness sewage treatment works has 4 33kV gensets powering the site back in the 70s, but that would have been methane/hydrogen mix.
SS is a geologist and from all accounts a good one. He has also done a good job of surveying, planning and executing the drilling projects.
If you want to cast shade (and I think thats all this is) it would be better placed at the financial director not the CEO who will take the FDs advice on how/where to get finance from.
Given the time limit on SS options and the payment due 31/12 I'm surprised we have not had another couple of RNS.
1. SS has differed his options or bought them
2. We have paid the 3m in cash shares or combination of both.
What do we think Monday latest for these notifications?
Have a look at
https://www.dieselserviceandsupply.com/Natural_Gas_Fuel_Consumption.aspx
Gives full details on consumption rates and it looks like 2 x 1000kW gen sets running at 3/4 load would use the maximum 500,000 ft3/day leaving a little to flare off.
Thats 1500kW x 24hr = 36000 Kw/hr per day at 6.46p each (taken from the feed in tariff rate for combined heating and power which is a bit of a push) = £2325 per day minus whatever is used by UKOG.
1000W isn't much, 3000W at 230V is 13 Amps.
That said 1000kW is big and having that lot online making 5000kW is huge. You would need a very specific setup as anything over (I think) 50kW requires different quality control for the grid to accept it.
Would be looking at a HV grid connection for that kind of power and not sure how feasible that is.
qwerty,
As much as I'd like to see them take the options up they don't need to do they?
If SS takes his new 25M options at 1.13 tomorrow does he pay any more for them than if he takes them in 3 years time? - No
So why tie up the cash when you don't need to?
If I could sell my holding today and have a contract from UKOG saying I can buy back at the same price in 3 years I'd do it in a heartbeat then use the cash for other things, why can't SS do that also?
Ocelot,
MF have a big audience but 95% (myself included) of them are only reading to see what the idiots are getting totally wrong and skewed buy only using half the facts. Read, digest, ignore as total rubbish.
Nice one for doing this and i didn't think we would get so many entries.
Average price stands at 3.32
Average price with the top and bottom 6 discounted from the table is 2.94
UKOG don't need to do anything. ALBA need to fund their share of the upcoming work or face having some of their stake removed from them by default. UKOG just need to crack on and hoover up as much ALBA stake as possible by covering ALBAs part of the work
Handy,
Remember that if you have a bid of 1.00 (and offer of 0.9) when you buy you then need the offer to go up to 1.05 to make 5%.
That 5% profit is subject to 0.5% stamp duty on the purchase price of the shares and the trading fee for both the buy and sell.
So you buy £1000 and sell for £1050 (5%) thats £50 profit, now take off £5 stamp duty and 2 x £10 trade fees leaving you with £25 net.
Also remember that the offer might not pass the bid look at the recent UKOG prices, the bid gets moved up but offer stays the same and it just widens the spread.
Its possible to make money but turn £1000 into £30k in a couple of years? Yea good luck with that it comes with rainbows
