Massive over reaction imo. I don’t believe the US is primping what they say either, SPR releases week on week at the moment to keep a lid on prices but eventually that won’t work. China still importing record amounts and the driving season now under way, US imports at a 30 year low. Russia production under their quota due to contaminated supply. Lack of investment across the globe over the last few years now taking hold, Shale cannot fill that void. I can only see a very manipulated tight oil market. Soon the price is going to rocket.

If the market is as tight as they say, they won’t be able to manipulate the physical price as refineries will have to start out bidding each other for it. It’s probably what’s coming next in this yo-yo market

The only positive side to this volatility is the fact the market may see through it and not sell off that harsh tomorrow as probably expect another bounce.

This is not a tight market ! Oil doesn’t drop $7 in a month if supplies are tightening, this is the complete opposite and is now over supplied
