I think you should sell your over prices Tullow shares and buy Enq shares before they move above 30p

I would use Moody’s upgrade figures as the bottom line, Enquest are always very conservative with figures as not to underdeliver.

A large spike in oil prices would certainly push the world towards green energy much faster thats for sure, say Brent was to bob around $150 a barrel for a couple of years Enquest would be making huge profits with a yearly income of over $3b, the Market cap would probably be somewhere around £6billion paying a dividend around $1b each year.
I'd happily buy a electric car if that were to happen

The US production will return fast and Opec still have 5.7m in reserve so Brent won’t go much higher than $78 until spare capacity is used up. If that happens then God knows how high prices could go

That large draw made zero difference to prices yesterday, if we had a small draw prices would have fallen, if we had a tiny build prices would have dropped a couple of Dollars.
If we get a nice draw this afternoon then we should see prices move up a Dollar

I have to agree with Chilting that the government’s of this world will push us all away from oil dependence at some point and Enquest must make plans to add some sort of green energy to our portfolio in the near future just so it gives the big investors the green light to invest. (Can’t see to be investing in dirty oil.
It certainly wouldn’t damage our attractiveness towards new investors that’s for sure.
Once we get the debt down to manageable levels we must look at adding it. I think Hydrogen production is the best move considering batteries are not green in the slightest
