I don't think anyone is going to inflict a windfall Tax on oil North sea oil companies straight after suffering for the past 7 years with low oil prices making big losses each year.
Even Boris aint silly enough to ask North sea oil for more oil then Tax them on it at a higher rate.

Will be a interesting day tomorrow, some bailing out selling their stock to the guys who know a little more than US lot.

Jan you still betting on a 20% rise on Thursday ? If so will be the biggest daily rise I've had with Enquest since owning the stock 2015. Its possible !

Morning Jan, Never had a go at the swinging scene, admittedly I'm tempted but batting for both sides is out of the question as I only like to stick my Bat in one type of crease and the thought of batting close to the other sides middle wicket makes me shudder.

Blimey these oil prices are so volatile its become Red or Black for the traders. Over $6 swings both ways in under 12 hrs is mental !

The market is waiting for confirmation of last years FCF figure at confirmed production and at what confirmed realised average oil price.
In layman's terms :
We made $400m FCF with the average oil price of $68 even with missing out on our 2021 production guidance, So this years(2022) FCF figure will be much much higher and expect big shareholder returns next year !

That's a good deal adds 5k unhedged production with a big increase to reserves for 100m

Last off load left on the 5th, So we are the on the right side of the number of days in between off loads.

Just Revised their Q3 22 Brent price target from $100 to $120

If EnQuest nail this next update we should be off and running towards the 30's

bailiff, I can't invest in Tullow at the moment because of the hedging unfortunately, I don't see the SP falling back into the 30's but I don't see any reason for it to move up either.
Its a shame as Tullow would have had a a great opportunity to pay down a chunk of the debt with these higher oil prices.

Tullow's SP hasn't got much much positivity to lift its SP with the Terrible Hedging in place, Might need to wait a year or so before any movement happens

Crude isn't going much higher then where we are now, the world has plenty of Supply available and Opec has reserve supply if required.
Iran will be selling its oil into the open market soon and Russian oil will be sold into the market albeit at a 30% discount putting pressure on oil prices.
