It says that map is updated daily, so I will now start looking at that each day as well as at the RNSs. I think I might need to get out more.

That map is very interesting. You can see the 3 areas that make up the Savannah/Rio application : 9228C and 9229C in the name of Mutamba Minerals Sands S.A. (which is Rio), and 9735C in the name of Matilda Minerals which is Savannah. The status of 9735C and 9229C are 'pending assignment', but the status of 9228C is unfortunately 'opposition pending' - not sure of the exact meaning of that but maybe indicates local opposition to granting of the application ?

We all know you are a very substantial shareholder and you have met DA several times. I cannot believe you have not spoken at length with him about Oman. As your conclusions are as stated at the beginning of this post, I would just like the rest of the shareholder base to have access to the same information that you based your conclusions on. I just cannot fathom the secrecy - it does no-one any good - the company, DA's credibility, the other shaeholders ....

What do they mean by an 'auction' of licences - is it an auction in the conventional sense where it goes to the person paying the largest amount of money (presuming all the other commitments such as the lithium refinery are met) ? If so are we not in danger of being pushed out by the big boys who are far cash richer than us ?

The clever people are slowly beginning to buy in - we are now above 6p (the two recent 340,000 trades at 5.8 look like a Bed and ISA).

Good that the CEOs of both companies are both Australians - they can seal the deal by sharing some tinnies and throwing another prawn on the barbie.

We don't actually own 100 % yet - last RNS:
"The Transaction is subject to Savannah entering into a legally binding Share Purchase Agreement ('SPA') with the Vendors and will be subject to shareholders approving the requisite resolutions to issue new ordinary shares at the Company's 2019 AGM"
So we need to get that AGM scheduled and the resolution approved. Hopefully just a rubber stamping exercise.

Article from 6 months aqo and relating to year 2017 but states Oman issued 292 mining licences. So it shows they do actually do issue them ! But why couldn't one of them have been to us ?
