This is what frustrates me most about the whole Oman saga - the 35% not owned by us is owned by an Omani outfit and the largest shareholders in SAV are Omani yet we are still waiting for a licence. What has Alara got that we haven't ? Someone must know why we have not yet been granted the licence but no-one seems to be prepared to let us shareholders know the reason.

I'd forgotten that. Who owns the other 35% ? Aren't they hacked off with the lack of progress on the project ? (or maybe they are the cause ? ).

That Alara might take our Oman copper project off us ? If so what price would we want for it ??

Alara have just announced a 60 million Euro investment in their Oman copper project. Their sp currently up 55% in Oz. And we are still waiting for our mining licence - pathetic.

They are mainly sells, not buys - we are down on the day !!

Actually, my post at 01:22 this mormning was wrong - the first Moz licence applications were not made in April last year they were made in January - see RNS 16/01/2018. So they have now been outstanding for 14 months as against the government guideline of 6 months. The PFS was started in August 2017 so has now been ongoing for nearly 19 months. No timescale for completion was given in the 23/08/2017 RNS, only the meaningless phrase 'it is anticipated that this work will be finalised in coming months'. In the RNS of 17/08/2017 regarding the construction of a pilot plant DA stated 'the completion of the plant will be a key milestone for the Mutamba Consortium as we move the Project towards a development decision.' So he reckoned we were moving towards a development decision back in August 2017 ??!

Why do people think we will get a response to the Moz mining lease application by 21 March ? True, that will be 6 months since the date of the application (see RNS dated 21/09/2018) and the Moz government is meant to respond within 6 months, but we are still waiting for their response to the mining lease application made in the RNS of 23/04/2018 which was nearly 11 months ago now. Remind anyone of Oman ? ...... Just because DA is bullish about it in an interview doesn't mean it is going to happen.

Well Oman is obviously pretty comatose but I think we will get Moz news relatively soon but not before the end of this month which is when the previous LTIP expired, so not really surprising they ditched that plan.
