What does everyone think about assuming US sales will be a consistent proportion of our total sales going forward. It would be dangerous in my view to assume that US will rise or fall at the same rate as Europe or particularly China given their anticipated shortfall. If the US increases great but if it falls?

I imagine Vametco will sell vanadium to Bushveld Energy at full maker price , I seem to recollect has been said. Bushveld Energy will convert to electrolyte & build the VRFB then sell to the new Bushveld Leasing/ Bushveld Energy Leasing. The question is entitlement to Mikhail, does his 16% extend beyond the battery manufacture? There is still much to be clarified.We will do well whatever the ultimate framework.To reduce cross company contamination risks the leasing company should be a subsidiary of BMN so finished articles are isolated.

The accounting will be complex. Vametco will show a profit on sale to Bushveld Energy Leasing (BEL) but it will disappear in Bushveld’s consolidated accounts. BEL will have an income with virtually no deduction for the cost of the vanadium, just the electrolyte manufacture cost. So once again the accounts will take some understanding. However what will be clear is the cash balance on the parent company balance sheet.

Ophidian,James is correct as with no disposal outwith the group then there is by definition no realisation of a gain on the vanadium transfer to say “Bushveld Energy Leasing”. However with a possible write off of the cost over 20 years, net of residual value then the profits in Bushveld Energy Leasing from the renting will be pretty spectacular.
