George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I agree with your response.
I am happy to support UK Science, UK products. But are ODX going to announce sales?
Testing for the virus in what ever form it mutates to will remain.
But the over Riding question is - Are ODX part of the UK Government plan? Can they show any sales?.. If not then the price will continue to slide.
With out that sorry it sounds like they can't enact the potential they had.
Not been about for a while, anti body testing is arriving as I thought towards to 'end' of the pandemic. I didnt think we would be testing for vaccine antibodies I thought it would be more natural antibodies.
However the inability of ODX to be part of this, despite having been UK Government funded etc. Makes this a sell now.
Unless someone can tell me different?
https://mol.im/a/9539015Just seen this. No idea where Hemo are going in short or long term. A success in one of the areas they are research would be £££££, but where are they with this research?
The quality of the company and products are not in question. Unfortunately its the market it operates in thats the issue.
The restructure will weather the storm for a period, but 2022 may be the test. Positive news is all that will feed an increase longer term.
Short term its the assessment of its finances that will feed any increase and the amount of cash it has got to last it until positive news feeds an increase.
It will not disappear but I do think in the extreme it may be picked off for parts. Split the defence and commercial aspects.
I think it may hit 69 if stop losses are hit.
I think it will climb back up. Despite second wave, US elections looming RR have restructured ready. Cash to weather the storm etc. Its the length of the storm that may be the issue.
Seems to be a slow slide.I doubt I will see my required 90 today.I think a lot of major investors will be seeking safe bets for their money as lockdown and US elections loom. However this crests opportunity for others. Is this that opportunity?
Well I guess the board is split as to which way this goes tomorrow
Thinking that there more value in this than many feel. I think the IP is worth the MCAP. The market is not just commercial air (although yes the major market). RR has a large role in UK defence as well, where I can see spending increase slightly or remain flat as world becomes a more dangerous place.
Some positive news re contracts etc, would steady the price and confidence.
I could do with 91 for a happy close. I tried to get in sub 80 but was struggling on IG all morning. In between sorting kids.
Should of left it as I now need 89 for break even.
This new funding round, will this see off all talk of a takeover?
Yes this should be worth more, it has held at 480-520 throughout COVID.
Order back log is above 20billion, further orders for Germany and Spain being talked about in the press for Typhoon.
Its the longer term issue of how does COVID affect spending globally?
Also remember BAE is more global than we think its major markets are split with middle east, UK and USA. So it is not held to ransom by UK Government.
I understand what you are saying. But if the management team can raise the funds to buy other similiar sized companies fair play to them.
I don't see then buying BT anytime soon but there are a number of players in the tech arena supporting SME.
I only hold 56000 here so it's a punt from me.
Just seen. Not allowed to swear on here. At least it was over subscribed.
Probably to be expected in this COVID world. I think this is likely to be a slow burner until companies see then end of COVID and want to invest in the future.
What's caused this little drop?
As much as I would like some good news. I don't think Boris will deliver it today.
I think ODXs place in the pandemic narrative comes at the end of the second wave. With a vaccine in circulation and significant numbers of the population having had the virus.
At this point the world will want to get back to the new norm and understand if you have / have had the virus.
A few months yet before significant up tick for me.
I could be and probably am wrong.
Broadband, fibre, unified communications will all be big business esp for the SME network as WFH home becomes the new norm.
But why is Toop better than all the others, in a crowded market place?
So what happens now?
I think we may drift again back to £1 maybe below until more news or orders arrive.
Interesting that leaked NHS documents indicate a vaccine will be distributed within the next month or so.
Does this mean our test becomes more important or less? Does the test also pick up those who have had the vaccine and those who have had COVID.
I am thinking that unless there is major positive news within the results, it will drop back. I cant see the financials showing a good income stream.
If they are bad, it will be padded out with some positive news to offset the bad. If they are OK they may be left as a standalone RNS and further good news in a separate notification, to maintain momentum and not let the good news get lost in the 'OK' financials etc.
I can't see major good news coming with results, as it will dilute the impact.
