Remember we are talking about £2k in value here - the market value is now SO low that it only takes a historic low value purchase to push the share price up 10% ... I really hope news is due .. many of us are way under water .. but my hunch is this is the same 1-2 people trying to get the price us ... for a placing ... sorry for the negative opinion but I have seen it happen here .. before!!!
Pearls - I'm no expert - I don't deal in companies going through administration or thankfully invest in many companies that end up in administration (one or two over the years) .. but surely the CVAs voted though yesterday will mean the company coming out of administration? (even if this is at a later date). With the CVAs voted though you have to question the D4E shareholder wipeout - a listing as an asset in itself - I still believe getting MA out of the picture was the key aim here - as the debt is still there !!
Pearls - to name a few - the MTV - WRN - CTAG threads are still on LSE years (!!) after suspension - delisting. Just type in the ticker and the company appears - and all these threads are still (!!) active. LSE really should have a time limit for threads imho - perhaps three years - otherwise you will get posters still expecting a recovery-relisting-RTO when it is so rare an event. MA has gone quiet - all mouth and no trousers...
Well.. LTHs will know that I was actually one of the most vocal rampers on here - until 2-3 months ago .. I didn't think another cash raise would be needed and I did believe all the tie ups were good news. What changed was the profits warning (imo) and revenue not increasing. The costs had to be cut. Also cash is lower now than when the company had other placings in the past. Usually every six months.
I am still hopeful of a turnaround - still hold - but eyes are wide open and will acknowledge the positives (move into other countries-high growth) and negatives (cash burn continues-revenue still not sufficient)..
As for what to do about it 1) more tie ups 2) merget 3) cut the costs further - that includes you CEO or 4) RTO
They will need more cash sooner or later. It has to be over 0.2p nominal. This is why new posters have appeared to talk this up. The CEO salary is at stake!
Let's wait and see - can't be much left new to post. Of course the filter button is useful when someone decides to stalk you in other threads were you hold and they don't!! :-))))
The share price is at an all time low - this doesn't automatically mean it will now rise - 100% or 500% .. I will keep repeating until the message gets home - there have been countless RNS updates over the last six months - yet the share price continues to stay at a low level. Why? .. because another fund raising is 100% certain and most LTHs have had enough of raising cash to pay wages
I see one of my filtered stalkers has been on here - strange that they didn't like the ramping over on Debenhams when it was looking dodgy but have no problem with ramping on another dodgy share - they should practice what they preach.
I hold here - I want the share price to perform here - but I can see a short term pump and dump trader from a mile off. There has been multiple news RNSs over the last six months - none have moved the share price as profit takers quickly sell out - so what are our new posters actually expecting to be different this time? The company will need cash - and soon.
All very interesting. Btw were have you been? What will move the share price is a decent RNS, not MM games
Nice to see you are still around - bit rich to label people mugs - too many "I know it alls" on LSE keep using this word - it's the individuals money and if they wish to target higher risk AIM shares - that's up to them - not here btw - nice to see PAA now LIVE doing much better isn't it? :-)
The last message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view - seem to be a lot of these messages now on here... how do you get rid of a 29.9% shareholder? Answer - get the shares delisted - problem solved
The bully boys are the gang of three who appear together within a hour with the same opinion and comments - don't you think we notice? Thanks Cooler for the support - we will not shut up about this scandal. BTW the 5th account to add to my filter list - don't bother replying because I will not be reading your comments again
It's strange that the same three recent shorting posters keep coming on this thread to try to shut down (ex) shareholder debate about what went wrong here - as if they are working for the company and trying to sweep all the shareholder anger under the carpet - not going to happen.
Thought about my comments and not changing them - as far as I am concerned - shareholders put the capital in - which also helps to fund any debt payments going forward - and shareholders are usually the first port of call for funding - especially on the AIM market - or convertible loans etc - but when it all goes wrong - they lose the lot. Also as others have said - the company continues to trade - so it hurts - I don't expect the shorters to understand. Personally I sold out but feel for those - including SPD - who made various proposals - that now have to watch from the sidelines while the BoD continue in office. Frankly it stinks and I don't care what the shorters will say.. filtered
LOL were did I saying go long on a losing share? I only noticed Daniel here and on Interserve going short. Of course some trade long and short so let's see some bullish posts (elsewhere) then at a later date ..
Well then perhaps company law needs looking at. Otherwise what is the point of have a listed company if shareholders know they are always at the back of the queue except when a company wants more cash via equity. Daniel I suggest going long a few times in future then perhaps your opinion might not be so one sided. Perhaps in return I may short a share in future - just to ascertain how it effects me rationally and emotionally
Sorry but time and time again I have seen a 1 trade and a RNS 1-2 days later... many who trade AIM believe it's a broker code - two points 1) why bother trading the one share then? and 2) can it really just be unconnected that RNSs appear after a 1 code - of course not always... lets just see if there is a RNS this week...
Again you have to be corrected "SOME of the options would result in no shareholder value" .. it was only at the very end that it become clear shareholders were actually going to be wiped out - why did some hold out - because they thought MA would come in with a bid - or that the directors would accept one of his offers. Every case is different - obviously you get to see a pattern (I guess) if you short similar companies aka Interserve - but this was a little unique because of the large shareholder making various proposals - it no offer was ever on the table and it was clear a month earlier that D4E and/or shareholder wipe out was 100% definite - I guess Pearls and others would have got out sooner. Lets remember too it is not just the amateur small shareholders who wrongly stayed in - SPD lost a packet on this investment and actually added to their stake (another bull sign at the time) a week or two before the delisting - question: WHY!!!!
DC2007 - yes I know legally the former company no longer exists - but I will go out lunchtime and still see my local Debenhams trading... so I am sure you catch my drift..
Pearls - well most of the directors did not hold any shares - so shareholder interest were not that vital to them because they personally would not lose out - also the fact MA was a 29.9% shareholder ended up being a negative
BTW agree about the 1 codes - in most cases it signals a RNS .. so perhaps a holdings RNS pending (or the dreaded expected placing)
Devonplay - it's not just Pearls saying it.. read the SPD RNSs!! They are questioning the BoD motives too.
BTW there was the Danish asset that could have raised £100-£200 million - the trouble was it generated most of the remaining £30 million pa profits
