How long have AFC been using / storing hydrogen ?....I am quit sure they will be well clued up on the safe handling and storage requirements by now ...

Banaman... Plug-in Hybrids have a tiny battery capacity compared to full BEVs....the BMW I8 for example has a usable capacity of around 5kWh or a 20-25mile range on battery power alone...and a free 1hr top-up at a Supermarket would fully charge most hybrids...

Tesco chargers are 7kW units ....attached to a grid supply.
The same 7kW as you can charge at home ....Octopus energy charge 0.05p per kWh on their Octopus Go EV rate for overnight charging....this may vary slightly from region to region.
By using the Tesco charger for 1hr you are saving 0.35p.... worth a trip to Tesco ?.

Seems a bit early to start criticising the efforts of AFC to get this launch underway !....there was a board meeting last evening ....maybe an update will follow soon .

Agreed BumbleB ...I would much preferred to have seen AFC at the Goodwood Festival ...but we were not ready.... the fact that Siemens are backing Hydrogen fuel cell technology can only be a good thing....AFC will never have a monopoly on the technology...the market is vast and global and will continue to grow ...AFC will play their part in that growth...Enjoy the day ...

The video was a brief look behind the scenes (BTS ) and was not part of the demonstration ...that will follow ...as posted earlier today...it appears amateurish because it was ...someone agreed to it ...she was certainly acknowledged by Wendy ...any way ...where were TUVA ???

BumbleB ...It seems to me that DeNora predominately use Proton Exchange Membranes ...if the AFC AlkaMem membrane can outperform the PEM ...then it is little wonder DeNora are so excited with the testing ....have a great day tomorrow.

What has happened to the Q4 roadshow ...starting with a launch at Rolec HQ ?

From 7th Nov RNS... "In parallel to the ongoing HydroX-Cell(S)TM progress, AFC Energy is diligently working to deliver the Company's current agenda to bring the HydroX-Cell(L)TM technology to market within the EV recharger application which remains on track for Quarter 4 2019 demonstration.".... I would say it is a Demo .

Among the existing incentives, all-electric cars and utility vans are exempt in Norway from all non-recurring vehicle fees, including purchase taxes, which are extremely high for ordinary cars, and 25% VAT on purchase, together making electric car purchase price competitive with conventional cars.

Norway offer very attractive incentives to buy Electric vehicles ...makes far more sense to buy Evs than Petrol/diesel vehicles...
