I suggest those who have an irritating stone in their shoe, take it out and look forward. Testing will be a feature in our lives for some time to come. The political tripe, typical of the current HoC debate, helps nobody. ODX will prosper and those who hold and/or add, will be pleased they did so.

I carry the legacy of the dusters and LB’s leadership, so have plenty to moan about historically. I do see why some have a very negative attitude to AP after the dilution and the way it was handled, but I never saw a free ride to production and the short term finances did concern me. At least we have a way ahead and I’m taking a guardedly optimistic view of the next few months. I’m not sure news flow for the rest of the year will be frequent and/or regular, hoping our CFO has learned a lesson or two. I am anxious to see if Anchois fulfils or exceeds its potential but I’ll be staying put until it plays out.

Please please don’t put that less than half wit Zahawi into the post. The UK Covid defence industry has a chance if Bozza makes the right choice.

The good news from the tweet is that DHSC and HM Gov don’t appear to be walking away from the contract. Ride these waves, better times are coming.

I think it’s worth reminding ourselves on days like these that the market determines the price, not the manipulations of directors. Sure, over a period of time their (in)actions will have a bearing on the sp, but not day to day, unless it’s buys and sells. I can see why some are angry at the BoD in that regard, but as shareholders, as well as employees, at least they have a skin in the game. It’s a big ask to expect shareholders to believe they are working against the aims of the company and improving the value of the business - and ultimately the sp. If we keep patient, I am confident this will turn out very well indeed.

Decisive couple of weeks ahead for Covid stocks. I believe ODX will lead the charge in view of Innovagate. Best of luck to all, particularly those who have held through the last 12 months rollercoaster.

You make some valid points Twatcher. So either you’re trapped here hoping for a profitable exit or you’re resigned to a loss or you’re not invested. You say it as you see it but I’d have thought a higher SP benefits the first two. If it’s the third, you are wasting your time on those who see things differently. Whatever, best of luck to you.

I hope anyone who has been ballsy enough to express an extreme point of view will have the good grace to pipe up when the dice finally roll and they’ve got it wrong. I find the opposites quite amusing but they don’t change the fundamentals behind ODX. Roll on news and let’s hope it’s good.

SHC, I too have a long memory re CHAR and not massively deep pockets. But I’m sticking with my modest holding and will let Anchois play out. Good to see some old posters returning and new blood is always welcome, providing they avoid personal attacks and baseless ramps/de-ramps. I can understand why emotion and intuition led to some offloading. Let’s see what happens next.

Scouse, I thinks it was a combo of 1 and 2 that forced this move. I remember the feeling when Prospect S turned out to be a duster but I think Anchois is different. The appraisal drill will be to prove, improve or disprove the core asset. Prospect S was a punt following seismic modelling. At least we have Repsol’s work and further seismic to guide us this time. I agree it’s still speculative but for me, from a lower risk base.

SHC, I don’t doubt your integrity or motives. Those who do will have their own reasons but some of what’s been said by others smacks of shareholders feeling wounded. That’s understandable but I believe the BoDs options were limited. Time will tell. However, I don’t see how those who don’t take up the offer can moan if AP underwrites it and then complain that he’s picked up a stack of shares on the cheap. I’m not taking it up but I’m not moaning either. I hope the dust will settle and time will eventually show this to be not a bad move. I think the BoD were happy to let the SP drift before this move was announced, but whether it did or not was a gamble. They did not actively manipulate it down. I remain upbeat on CHARs prospects because I’d rather we wholly own a diluted share than give away a larger proportion of the asset in a fire-sale. It will be interesting to see how AP and the market handles the next bit of news.

I can see how some think that we’ve all been done over by AP and the BoD, even more so if your buy price was above 7.5p. I agree with Lotsoo20. The BoD had limited options. Only time will tell if this was the right one. I’ve been here over 11 years and will be here until Anchois plays out. Good luck to all LTHs who are doing the same.

If people make their investment choices based on their own research and due diligence into the fundamentals that support their decision, they shouldn’t go round looking for scapegoats if things don’t work out within whatever timeframe they set. That’s life !!! Looking to blame Uncle Tom Cobbly and all for things going wrong just makes some look foolish. You pays your money and you takes your choice. Those who bailed early on ODX may end up doing some leisurely repenting.

I’ve migrated from seething to angry to grumpy to accepting to mildly positive. AP came to the table and explained. I’ll stick with it but not take up the option. One way or another, we were never going to get a free carry on the next phase. It’s now a poker hand where we’re paying to see what Anchois has got. Good luck to those who stick around or join in.

I won’t be taking up my allocation either. If AP can’t attract a commercial partner on better terms than this, then he ain’t going to attract me. However, I’m not selling either. After all this time, what’s another three years to wait ?

I wonder if those who have successfully predicted the drop in SP during this news void would care to speculate on the increase when the expected news lands ? Or do they think this is a terminal decline ? They won’t rise to the challenge because they’d feel daft having a positive outlook on ODX after so much schadenfreude.

Now we can see why the chief CK basher is constantly at it. No doubt TB had the same on the RMS thread. Poor timing and poor decisions are always someone else’s fault. D’oh !
